Chapter 65

                                             Lily's POV

          "So there you shit stains are!! And you're all still alive to boot!! I was starting to worry that I had missed out on the fun of tearing you all to shreds!!!"
            
      
             All four of us instantly looked up as we each took a defensive stance. The supposed god of war just smirked as we did, a bemused look covered his face. I was mentally kicking myself for not sensing him sooner, even if there was something blocking our sensory magic I should have noticed him approaching through natural senses alone. My dumbass let my guard down because we had finally found Rose and now that idiot managed to sneak up on us.

              
                     "What's wrong? Monsters got your tongues or are you just speechless from how awesome I am?"  He jeered as he floated above us, looking down at us like we were just trash beneath him.

        I couldn't hold back the growl that ripped from my throat. That piece of shit really thinks he's something huh? I'd love to wipe that smug ass look off his face, or tear it off, whatever works. Just as I was about to make some smart ass remark I noticed Rose covertly signal something from the corner of my eye. Taking the hint I reluctantly took my focus off of the dumbass above me and focused on my surroundings.

      That's when I realized that we were yet again surrounded by those hideous mutts from earlier. They must not realize what I am when I'm in this form or they wouldn't have dared to get this close. With a smirk I went to grab the hem of my shirt so I could throw it off and shift back to my original form, (I really like this shirt or I would just shred it with everything else..), but before I could I was stopped by Rose silently putting her hand over mine and slightly shaking her head.

                  "So now what?" Rose asked in an irritated tone. "Are we going to just keep playing hide and seek or are you actually going to do something other than annoy me?"

      I had to hold in a laugh that threatened to come out after she said that, gotta love that girls attitude. Both Cici and Elrin were looking at her dumbfounded, probably shocked she would talk like that to the deity, Lionel however wasn't amused. His aura flared a bit, betraying the happy go lucky smile he was trying to keep up.

                                  "I was thinking about toying with you lot some more but I don't like your attitude. Let's see if your sassiness holds up while being a chew toy."  As he was saying that the monster mutts around us were slowly closing in, just waiting for the order.

       Then, with a snap of his fingers, all of them lunged forward growling and snapping their jaws. The dumbass in the air just smiled as he watched his pets about to tear us apart and even laughed when he saw the look of worry on Cici's face and straight lost it when he saw the sheer terror on Elrin's. As for me and Rose, we simply shared a quick glance and gave each other a slight nod to show we had the same train of thought.

        However, my mood soured pretty quick when I realized that I don't exactly have time to remove my shirt before they get to us. With my anger rising I released my aura and shifted, effectively tearing my clothes to shreds in the process. The effect was instant, every single one of the mutts suddenly hit the brakes, a good amount of them colliding with one another as they tried to skid to a stop.

       With my aura fully released this time they didn't even attempt to run away. They just lay on the ground exposing their undersides as a sign of submission, some of them even pissing themselves in the process. I almost felt elated at the fact they submitted so quickly, at least until I remembered that I just had to ruin my favorite shirt.

        'Thats it... Now I'm pissed...'
