Rose's POV
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!" The cloaked figure yelled as I simply stared at the aftermath of my "interference".
Starting from right in front of me, there was a trench fifty feet deep and twenty feet wide that stretched the entire length of the chamber and a little beyond. It had taken out part of the wall on the far end and dark purple flames still burned in patches along the trench.
'I wasn't expecting that....'
Thankfully the trench had managed to miss hitting the podium in the center of the chamber, albeit just barely. Since it's the only other thing in here besides the crystals, I'm assuming it's probably important.
"Don't yell at her!!" Cici said, clearly irritated. "First of all, we don't even know who the hell you are and secondly, she was just trying to stop you maniacs from bringing the whole place down on our heads. If you hadn't noticed, your recklessness has already started to tear everything apart way before she did that."
Everyone just kind of stood there awkwardly as Cici was glaring them down. After about five minutes of awkward silence, Lily suddenly broke out in laughter.
"It's not funny, I'm completely serious.."
"No, no, you're right. We shouldn't have been going that far."
"What the hell is going on anyway?"
"Well..."
Before Lily had a chance to respond she was interrupted by the cloaked person.
"You all need to leave. Now!!"
For a second the three of us just kind of looked at her. Suddenly I felt a sudden urge to leave. Like something was telling me deep down that I wanted to turn around and walk away. I was confused and was about to listen to that feeling before I realized that would be a stupid idea. I came here for a reason and I'd be damned if I left here empty handed. Then it suddenly clicked, I knew what that urge was about.
"You're stupid ass charm speak or whatever that was won't work..." I told the cloaked person as I was glaring daggers at her. "I'm insulted that you thought that it would. Now I've had enough. I'm confused, I'm tired, I'm annoyed and frankly I'm pissed off. You have one of two options, you either tell me who the hell you are and what the fuck is going here or I draw that blade again and finish what I started..."
After I was done saying that everyone was quiet and Lily was standing there with her jaw dropped as if she couldn't believe I had just went off on them. But frankly, I was fuming at this point, my patience is already running thin. So I continued to stare them down with my hand inches from the hilt of the blade as I waited for the response.
With a long sigh, the cloaked person reached up and pulled down her hood. She had long blue hair that seemed to glow just like the crystals and her face was completely covered by a white mask that didn't even have holes for eyes or any design. It makes me wonder how she could see with that thing on. But what stuck out the most was the two small horns that were sticking out of her head about an inch long.
Immediately upon seeing them I drew the blade on my hip and went to attack but was instantly blocked by Lily.
"What the fuck Lily?! She's a fucking demon?!"
