Lionel's POV
"Well I suppose it's almost time to join the fun." I say to mysolf while stretching. "If I wait any longer my hounds might kill all of them before I get to have any fun!"
Teleporting to the area and looking around I start to feel a little nostalgic. I remember the civilization that used to be here. They were a peaceful people that were way ahead of there time when it came to technological and archeological aspect. This hug city of stone is proof of that. I still remember the looks on their faces the day I released my hounds in the town square. Absolutely priceless!!
That was a pretty good way to vent my anger that had built up. And thanks to all the rumors and stories about what happened everyone started treating this place like it was cursed, effectively keeping people away. Ever since then this place has been my own personal hunting grounds.
"Wait a minute, something's wrong here..." I say as I fly above the city looking around. "Where's all the blood? The screaming? Hell, there's hardly even any signs of recent battle... What the fuck is going on here?"
Usually by the time I join in on the hunt my hounds have already made a mess. I usually see all sorts of shit, from blood and body parts laying around to screams and cries for help or mercy as someone's being ripped to shreds or eaten alive. But it's quiet... I can't even hear.... Wait, no, I can hear something. By the sounds of it my hounds must have realized I've joined the hunt and are on their way over for their orders.
That's why I took a liking to these particular beasts. They're ruthless, powerful, smart and loyal (once you beat it into them). And they make damn good trackers as well. Deciding to land on the rooftop of a nearby building I stood there and waited for them. But once they came into view it was more then obvious that something was wrong.
There was clearly a lot less of them then I left here and it looked like they weren't running to me but rather they were running from something.
"What in the actual fuck?" I yelled as I felt my anger rising. "What the hell are you idiots doing? Did any of you useless mutts manage to get at least one of them?"
Even as I was yelling at them instead of cowering like they usually do they just continued to run past me. Watching them go by and feeling my anger rising even more, I thrust out my hand and incinerated the last of the damn beasts that went by.
'What the fuck?! There's no way that a little girl, two pathetic Beastkin and a lame ass elf could cause them to freak out like that...' I thought as I flew back into the air and started moving in the direction the mutts came from. 'So what the hell?! I swear, if one of my brothers or sisters is trying to interfere with my hunt I'll skin them alive...'
