Chapter 21

The week went by fast, Jace and I would call at night, and he'd text me through out the day.

  Luna Mary was over a lot that week, explaining to me how things would go if Jace and I were mates.

  Piper and I went dress shopping for graduation.

  Other than that it was pretty boring.

  It was Wednesday and I could finally see Jace tomorrow at graduation.

  "Skyanna, could you make your way to my office" dad mind-linked me.

  "Coming" I replied.

  "Sky, stay calm when you come in" Jacob mind-linked me.

  "What's going on?" I tried to get answers but none were coming.

  I knocked on the door and opened it before an answer. Dad, and alpha Theo were sitting on the couch. My brother sitting in the chair looked at me.

  Theo was the alpha of moonlight woods pack. Which means... I spot Dutton standing in a corner of the room. The minute he sees me he walks up to me.

  "Looking lovely today" he looks me up and down.

  "What are you doing here" I say with a hint of annoyance in my voice.

  "Alpha Theo has brought his son's future beta over to see you" dad says.

  I see another man standing in the corner.

  "She is quite beautiful Dutton" he reaches out a hand to me, "future alpha Archie".

  I shake his hand quickly and let go. I've seen him around school.

  "Dutton here is interested in being your mate" Alpha Theo state.

  "What!?" I snap my head towards dad very annoyed.

  "We have explained to them you will have a party Friday they are welcome to come see if he is your mate" dad spoke.

  "I know who my mate is!" I shouted.

  "Calm down" Jacob mind-linked me and I shot him a glance. He pulled out his phone.

  "And who would that be" alpha Theo asked.

  "Future alpha Jace is my guess they are always together" Archie spoke up.

  "I'll challenge him then" Dutton rounded me.

  "Excuse me?" I snapped.

  "I want you" he spoke

  "And what if you find your real mate" I questioned

  "I'll reject her. This is good for business" Dutton smirked.

  I looked at my dad whose hand was on his head.

  "Ah yes having alpha Jax's daughter in our pack would sure make business easier" alpha Theo chimed in.

  "If Dutton doesn't win his challenge, your mate will have to challenge me" Archie raised his brow, "you will be in our pack, you'd make a nice Luna"

  "Yes I will, but not yours" I smirked

  "I like this one" Archie smiled.

  I mind-linked dad "can I please leave I feel disgusted"

  My phone wouldn't stop buzzing.

  My dad nodded.

  "That must be him now" Dutton ripped my phone from my hand.

  Answering it "she's busy at the moment" Dutton was being very sarcastic.

  Jaces pov:

  Jacob texted me with a run down of what was happening. I immediately started calling Sky. She wasn't answering so I'd call again. Finally...

  "She's busy at the moment" it's Dutton.

  My anger fumes through my body.

  "Don't worry we will take good care of her at our pack" I hear another man, must be their future alpha.. Archie.

  My wolf comes forward and I let out a growl.

  "Give me my phone!" I hear Sky upset.

  "One second princess" Archie calls.

  I gripped my phone tighter.

  "If you so much as lay a finger on her I'll-"

  "That's enough boys!" Alpha Jax roars through the phone.

  "Fine" Dutton stood down.

  "See you Friday princess" Archie says.

  I wish I could see what's happening over there.

  "We are done here. Please see yourselves out" I hear Alpha Jax.

  "Hello" I hear Skys voice.

  "I'm coming over now"

  "No you know the rules"

  I sigh "are you okay"

  "I'm fine"

  "I can't wait to be able to feel your emotions, I know you're lying"

  "I'll call you later" she hangs up
