CHAPTER SEVENTY

"MARIO WELLINGTON JR. what the hell did you tell my father?" Cristal storms up to said heir and harshly grips his arm. "He's threatening to cut me off?"

Mario gently but immediately shoves her away. "I told him the motherfucking truth. You're a cheater, Cristal. I don't like cheaters. I distinctly remember telling you that shit when we first started dating." He can feel himself getting worked up.

"Don't let this bitch get under your skin, baby." Autumn says, comforting him.

Mario kisses her on the forehead. "You're right baby girl. Thank you."

"Who's this bitch?" Cristal is losing her mind right now. Seeing her ex with another girl is making her go ballistic.

Aurora chimes in, defending Autumn. "I only see one bitch. And that's you." This girl is not about to insult one of her best friends and get away with it.

Cristal loses it. She balls her fists and goes to punch Aurora in the face but Justin blocks it, gripping her hand. He's been quiet this entire time, letting the situation play out but he draws the line at disrespecting his girlfriend and friends.

Watching the display of disrespect, Kevin comes over and harshly grabs Cristal by the arm, pulling her back over to their family. "I'm so sorry for my daughter's insolence." Cristal tries pulling away from her father's grip but to no avail, he doesn't let up.

When they get far enough away from the Empire, Aurora pulls her phone out and fires off a text message to Erica. "Just for that, phase two commences right now."

Five minutes later, a black sequin sweetheart neck MARCHESA NOTTE gown clad Catalina Rivera walks in and immediately catches Kevin's eye. They widen at the sight of his secret mistress.

"Kevin!!" Catalina squeals loudly catching the attention of everyone in the room.

Juliette's eyes widen at the display of tackiness.

Charles looks at Juliette and then Aurora, who's staring at Kevin Callahan with disgust all over her pretty face. He wonders what that look's about.

"Aurora," Adrianna hissed, digging her hand into her arm. "Is that who I think it is?"

Aurora smiled evilly. She leaned in and whispered slowly. "Mr. Callahan's mistress... is Cristal's aunt Catalina."

Autumn gaped, her breathing speeding up. "You brought them here?"

Aurora shook her head, looking around to make sure no one would overhear. "Of course not. Catalina Rivera knows nothing about me. She's been 'communicating' with Kevin Callahan for about a month,"

Avalon stared at her with her jaw open. "You..."

"Through emails and text messages and DM's. Kevin really wants to make it right. I mean, he's a family man, didn't you hear? That's his campaign strategy."

"Aurora," Adrianna breathed. "Are you serious? Do you know how serious this is? You pretended to be him? You tricked Catalina into thinking that he wants to be with her? What about Cristal's mom?"

Aurora's stone grey eyes narrowed. "You don't think she deserves to know about her scumbag husband cheating on her with her own sister?!"

The girls didn't say anything to that. That's because they know she's right.

Aurora continued ruthlessly. "If I were her, I'd definitely want to know. I'd also definitely want to know that it's been going on for years. Over twenty years, in secret. All of his 'vacations' and 'overseas cases' and 'work conferences' were all for him to meet up with her sister. It's been so serious and gone on for so long that... Why, they even had a child together."
