AFTER LAS VEGAS, THE EMPIRE (Aurora and the girls to be exact) puts the finishing touches on the planning for the Denim and Diamonds party. The invitations have been handed out, the food has been ordered, the venue and the DJ has been ordered. Everyone is excited. The Empire are on their way to school. Justin picks Aurora up in his brand new BUGATTI La Voiture Noire.
"Ready for Saturday, Pretty Dove?" Justin asks his girlfriend as they head towards LA Prep.
Aurora nods her head. "I sure am, big guy. This party is about to be one for the books. I just hope nobody decides to crash it. We all remember what the hell happened last year."
Last year's Denim and Diamonds party was an absolute disaster. Jasmine somehow managed to steal someone else's invitation, pretended to be that person and caused a shit ton of drama. Tried to stir shit up between the Empire and tried to flirt with a drunk Kingsley.
Aurora wants this year's party to be smooth and chill as possible. Girl, let's not get carried away now. With Jasmine back in Los Angeles, she might end up crashing it again. Did the author just foreshadow this happening? Yes. Yes the fuck she did. Rude!
The couple arrives at school and steps out of the car. They hear some girls talking about Cotillion. Apparently, the committee members changed the date. It's usually held in November but this particular time, it'll be held during summer break at the WALDORF- ASTORIA Hotel.
Speaking of which, Juliette's grandmother Gracelynn is coming to town. She's the chairwoman of the event. This is Aurora's first cotillion so everything needs to be perfect. Justin is going to be her escort of course. If not, the family won't hear the end of it. Gracelynn is the one to play. She's prim and proper. Hell, the woman doesn't even like to be hugged.
"Great, yet another event we have to get ready for. I literally forgot about Cotillion and my great-grandmother on my mom's side is coming to town." Aurora is stressed the hell out.
"Easy, pretty dove. Calm yourself down. You're not alone in this." Justin says, pulling her in a bear hug. It manages to calm her down. He's right. She's not alone. She has him and their friends.
"You're right, big guy. I just need everything to be perfect."
"And it will. Now let's go find the rest." Justin locks his car and leads her up the steps into the school.
They get outside to the courtyard and see the rest of the Empire. Blake seems to be worked up about something. Brandon is trying his best to calm the elder boy down after damn near getting into a fight with the self proclaimed playboy of the school, Jordan Forrester. Said boy tried to make a pass at a very uncomfortable Brandon. Jordan slapped Brandon's ass and Blake lost it. He would've clocked Jordan in the face if it hadn't been for Brighton and Mario pulling him away.
"Babe, I'm totally fine! I don't want to keep talking about it," Brandon whines as he tugs on Blake's tie to get the fuming boy to face him. "But your aggressiveness really, really got me hard and I'm really horny right now. So can we go?"
He stands up, hands still pulling at the striped tie. Just like that, Blake's attention drifts from his poor stabbed food to Brandon's seducing lip bite.
"You're so kinky, baby," Blake grunted, rolling his eyes. But he gravitates towards the younger boy, eyes trained on him like a hawk.
The pair prances off, probably heading to one of their many secret spots around the school for a quick fuck.
"Those two are ...what's the phrase I'm looking for?"
"Some horny freaks."
Autumn nods. "That's definitely it."
The bell rings ten minutes later.
By some miracle, Brandon makes it to class on time. The boys tease him for being so whipped. He doesn't care though. He loves Blake so fucking much and it's going to stay that way.
The day drones on and Aurora is over the shit. She had to cuss a freshmen girl out for trying to flirt with Justin. Everyone knows you don't flirt with the queen's man... unless you're looking for an ass beating and Aurora, even though she hates fighting, can surely deliver one to you.

BRIGHTON WALKS IN THE LOCKER room right after Lacrosse practice and runs into someone he really can't stand. Wesley Davidson. Wesley is a fucking menace. He goes around flirting with the girlfriends of every athlete, whether they be on the lacrosse team, basketball team, or football team. Wes does not care. He hasn't flirted with Adrianna yet. Mainly because Brighton told all of the single guys on the team that she's off limits.
"Wassup Captain?"
Brighton rolls his eyes, grateful that Wesley cannot see him. He better not say anything about Adrianna. Brighton might be a kind soul but piss him off and he'll likely knock you on your ass- or unconscious. Depends on how he feels.
"What do you want, Wesley?"
There's a smirk on said male's face. "Saw you with your girl. She's a beauty."
Brighton already knows that he's about to beat some ass today. Doing so will get him suspended. But he really wants to fuck this guy up.
"Be careful with your words, Davidson. I'm not here for the bullshit today."
"I can't help but wonder how she would look in my bed, laying underneath me, moaning my name as I take her over and over."
He's still talking but Brighton sees RED. He stands up, zooms over to him and punches him right in the eye.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!?"
"Say something else, you filthy bastard. I told you and every single guy on the team that my girlfriend is fucking off-limits." Someone is holding him back and telling him to chill the fuck out but he ain't tryna hear all that. All he wants to do is give Wesley another black eye. "I swear, if I weren't being held back right now, I would bruise the other side of your disgusting face."
"Brighton, go shower. Wesley, take your ass outside now."
"Why do I have to go outside?!? He punched me in the eye?!?" Wesley's words go unheard as he is pushed outside.
15 minutes later
Brighton leaves the locker room to screams. It's Wesley yelling that he's pressing charges against Brighton. Said male does not care. He's dealt with worse. He was only defending his girlfriend. Can't blame him. You would do the same for your significant other as well. Don't lie.
He ducks inside the school, coming face to face with Adrianna. The only person that matters at this very moment. She looks at him with concern written all over her face. He regards her with a shake of his head. He will explain himself later. Right now, he just needs her close to him.
