Here I was in front of the intimidating castle front gate. I had the jitters of the first day, while. I was walking through the gardens to the gate, I was trying to calm myself.

CasteloBruxo is very far now, no more Caipora, that protects the school, no more fun Magical creatures, everything was better there I would rather not make potion in a dark and cold classroom.

I want to do it in the open, like I am used to. Furthermore, I heard they make you gather your ingredients in that Forbidden Forest. Why in that dangerous place? Back home, I was able to do it alone without the fear of being attack by a giant spider.

I was protected by the Caipora or with the company of a magical or non-magical creature. If we encounter any possible danger, our magic is capable of controlling the danger without having to harm the creature.

And I won't be able to practice my Dark Magic in here, this is awful. I will have to find a secret place that allows me peace, quiet and secluded enough so no one can hear me.

My pen-friend Ominis told me that was strictly forbidden. He is allowed to do it at home, Against his will, his family is fond of the Dark Arts, apparently he is a descendant of one of the Hogwarts founders, that's quite impressive.

I was thought, Magic has its good and bad side, but it's up to you what you do with it. I think the taboo Hogwarts places against Dark Magic has made many students curious about it, and they end up on the wrong side.

In our community we have a very knowledgeable wizard, and he knows so much about dark magic, spells that not even the most skilled wizard in the old continent has heard about it.

We keep those secrets to ourselves because magic is too precious to be tainted with evil.

I saw someone waiting at the entrance. And he was waiving at me. ―" Miss Nott, welcome to Hogwarts. I am Gladwin Moon, Hogwarts Caretaker."― The middle age man introduced himself to me.

―" Hello Mr. Moon. It's a pleasure to meet you."― I said with a smile.

―"I heard you came from CasteloBruxo, how impressive."― He let out a light chuckle.

―" Thank you, I love CasteloBruxo, it was my home."― I said in very formal tone.

―"I bet it was. But I bet Hogwarts will be your second home."― He smiled at me and helped me with my bags.

―"The rest of your luggage will be placed in your new room, once you get sorted out, of course."― Mr. Moon said with a kind smile.

―"Sorted out? Oh, right, the school system."― I said, smiling at him.

―"You don't have one?"― Gladwin asked, looking at her.

―"Not really, we only have separated bedrooms for boys and girls, but the house system is not a ting. Of course, you'll show certain abilities or preferences, but you can choose what do you want to learn."

―"I like that, Miss Nott."― Mr. Moon said with a smile. ―"Are you related to the Nott Family from England?"― Mr Moon asked while we walked through the long halls.

―"I am, my father is cousins with Edmund Nott. But my father was born and raised in Central America, so he does not have much in common with them."

―"I see. I was thinking that not many Notts live outside England."― Gladwin said, opening another big door.

―"My grandparents and my dad are the exception, they don't believe in that pure-blood nonsense. So they decide to live in a place where that was not a thing."

―"I see, well, they did well. To be honest, I get tired of hearing the students talking about that." He said, rolling his eyes.

―" Here we are, miss, behind this door you'll have to walk another large corridor, then you will find another big door and behind it, you'll get sorted. Don't be scared that will last but a moment, but I promise you'll remember this day forever. I will send your bags to your dorm as I said before, I will see you around."
