After a while, Aayara felt a bit more alert and less feverish. The bodyguards helped her take a warm bath, which eased some of her discomfort and cleaned away the remnants of the cold, damp clothes. The warm water helped soothe her aching muscles and bring some relief.
Once she was clean and dressed in fresh clothes, she was given a simple but nourishing meal. As she ate, she noticed the food was more substantial than what she had been given in the dungeon. This small improvement in her situation provided a glimmer of hope amidst her bleak circumstances.
While she ate, she couldn't help but think about her situation and the man who had brought her to this point. Despite her anger and fear, there was a part of her that wondered about Arjun's true intentions and what might be ahead for her in this new, uncertain environment.
As the night deepened, the fever that had plagued Aayara began to subside slightly. Her breathing became more steady, and she closed her eyes, trying to find some semblance of rest. The cold from the dungeon and the stress of her situation had left her exhausted.
In her restless sleep, she dreamt of freedom and the life she had before all of this began. The warmth of her home and the comfort of her family felt distant but vivid in her dreams.
In the dead of night, Arjun quietly entered Aayara's room. His footsteps were silent on the plush carpet as he approached her. The soft moonlight streaming through the window cast a pale glow on her sleeping figure.
He stood by her bedside, his eyes cold and calculating as he observed her. Despite her weakened state, a part of him remained intrigued by her resilience. The room was eerily silent, save for the faint sound of her steady breathing.
Arjun remained there for a few moments, his gaze lingering on her as if contemplating his next move.
Arjun walked into the room quietly, his footsteps barely making a sound on the floor. His eyes were cold and calculating as he hovered above Aayara, who lay on the bed, her breathing shallow and her fever slightly reduced. His gaze was filled with a mix of dark satisfaction and disdain.
He smirked as he looked down at her, clearly enjoying the control he had over her. “Still alive,” he murmured, his voice dripping with contempt. “How fortunate for you.”
Arjun's eyes followed the subtle movement of her lips, his gaze momentarily softening. The sight was a stark contrast to the harshness of the situation. He shifted his weight, making sure he didn't disturb her.
After a few moments, he turned to leave, a flicker of an unreadable emotion crossing his face. The door clicked shut behind him, leaving Aayara in the dim, quiet room.
Arjun fell onto his bed, the day's events weighing heavily on him. The image of Aayara, vulnerable and asleep, lingered in his mind. He closed his eyes, trying to shake off the unsettling feelings that had begun to surface. The cold, calculated part of him struggled to suppress the unexpected stirrings of guilt and confusion.

The morning sun cast a soft glow through the curtains of Arjun's bedroom. Arjun lay in bed, still in his dark thoughts from the previous night. The harsh light slowly roused him from sleep, and he began to stir.
He got out of bed, pulling on a robe, and walked over to his desk where he reviewed documents with a grim expression. His mind was occupied with the complexities of his empire and the unsettling thoughts about Aayara from the previous night.
As Arjun walked down for breakfast with his brothers, the atmosphere was a mix of casual conversation and strained normalcy. His thoughts were still preoccupied with Aayara, but he maintained a composed exterior. The breakfast table was set, and his father, Mahesh, was already there, greeting them with a warm but slightly concerned look.
