Rudra: Entering the office with a light-hearted demeanor, smiling to himself “Today feels different. Things might just be turning around.”
He greeted his colleagues with a more relaxed attitude than usual, his thoughts drifting to Aayara and the unexpected warmth he felt during their conversation. As he settled into his work, he hoped for a smoother day ahead.
A peon stopped him saying a letter has came from mr Sahil khurana this morning for him.
Rudra: Taking the letter from the peon with a nod “Thank you. I’ll read it right away.”
He opened the letter and scanned its contents, noting the urgency and importance of the message from Sahil Khurana.
Rudra: Clenching his jaw as he reads the letter “So, Sahil Khurana wants to play dirty, huh? Mocking me and predicting my loss. This is personal.”
Rudra crumples the letter in his fist, his anger evident.
Rudra: Muttering to himself “He wants a show? Fine. I’ll make sure he gets one. Tonight, I’ll show him who’s really in control.”
He takes a deep breath, steeling himself for the race ahead. The challenge has only fueled his determination.
Rudra: Sitting behind his desk, his fingers tapping restlessly “This race is more than just a competition. Sahil Khurana isn’t a mere street racer. I need to be on top of my game tonight.”
He leans back in his chair, closing his eyes for a moment to center himself.
Rudra: Muttering to himself “I can’t afford any mistakes. Every move has to be perfect. I’ll need to review the track and my strategy again.”
He picks up the letter once more, his eyes scanning the mocking words before he sets it aside and focuses on preparing for the race.
Diya: Walking in with a bright smile “Hi Rudra! I hope I’m not interrupting.”
She notices his stressed expression and her smile fades slightly.
Diya: “You seem a bit tense. Everything alright?”
Rudra: Forcing a smile “Just dealing with some last-minute race preparations. Sahil Khurana’s letter has me a bit on edge.”
Diya: Concerned “Oh, I see. If you need any help or just someone to talk to, I’m here for you.”
She moves closer, her eyes filled with genuine concern as she takes a seat across from him.
Rudra: Nods appreciatively “Thanks, Diya. I could use a distraction right now.”
Diya: Smiling warmly “Well, let’s take a moment to breathe. How about I bring us some coffee? It might help clear your mind a bit.”
Rudra: Relaxing slightly “That sounds good. I’d appreciate that.”
Diya stands up and heads out to get coffee, leaving Rudra to gather his thoughts and prepare for the challenges ahead.
Diya: Returning with two cups of coffee, she sets them down on the table “Here you go. I hope this helps a little.”
She sits back down, her eyes meeting Rudra’s with a supportive smile.
Rudra: Takes a sip, visibly relaxing “Thanks, Diya. I didn’t realize how much I needed this.”
Diya: “Sometimes, a little break and a good cup of coffee can work wonders. So, tell me more about this race. What’s got you so worked up?”
Rudra: Sighs “It’s not just the race itself. Sahil Khurana’s reputation precedes him. His letter made it clear he’s not underestimating me. I can’t afford to let my guard down.”
Diya: Nods thoughtfully “I understand. But remember, you’ve proven yourself time and time again. You’ve got this.”
Rudra: Smiling faintly “I hope so. Thanks for the pep talk. It’s good to have someone to lean on.”
Diya: “Anytime, Rudra. You know, if you need more than just coffee, I’m here to help however I can.”
They continue to chat, Diya’s presence easing some of the stress Rudra feels as he prepares for the upcoming race.
Diya: Staring at Rudra, her gaze softening as she watches him relax “You really do carry a lot of weight on your shoulders, don’t you?”
Rudra: Glances up, sensing the change in her tone “It’s part of the job. But it’s nice to have a moment to unwind.”
Diya: Forcing a smile, her heart aching “Yeah, well, it’s not easy being in your position.”
Rudra: Notices her pensive expression “Is something bothering you, Diya?”
Diya: Shakes her head quickly “No, just… thinking. Sometimes it’s hard to separate personal feelings from work, you know?”
Rudra: Furrows his brow, concerned “Are you sure? If something’s on your mind, you can talk about it.”
Diya: Takes a deep breath, trying to steady herself “It’s nothing you need to worry about. I’m just here to support you, that’s all.”
As they continue their conversation, Diya’s inner turmoil remains hidden. Despite her feelings for Rudra, she hides her emotions behind a mask of friendship, knowing that her love for him is unreciprocated. Her heart continues to ache silently as she helps him through his stress.he only sees her as a friend and here , she is dreaming to marrying him .
Diya: Chuckles softly to herself, shaking her head “I guess I’m the only one who didn’t get the memo.”
Rudra: Noticing her chuckle, he raises an eyebrow “What’s so funny?”
Diya: Forces a light-hearted smile “Oh, nothing. Just... thinking about how unrealistic my daydreams can be sometimes.”
Rudra: Nods, though he’s curious “Daydreams? What kind of daydreams?”
Diya: Trying to change the subject, her smile fading slightly “Just... stuff that helps me get through the day. Nothing important.”
Rudra: Sensing her reluctance to share, he respects her privacy “Alright, if you ever feel like talking, I’m here.”
Diya: Grateful for his understanding, she nods “Thank you, Rudra. I appreciate it.”
As Rudra returns to his work, Diya watches him with a wistful smile, her heart heavy with unspoken emotions. She silently acknowledges the gap between her dreams and reality, but the pain of unrequited love continues to linger.
Diya: Her voice trembling slightly as she musters the courage “Rudra, can I... ask you something personal?”
Rudra: Looks up from his work, sensing her hesitation “Of course. What’s on your mind?”
Diya: Takes a deep breath, trying to steady herself “Are you... are you interested in anyone? Like, romantically?”
Rudra: Pauses, surprised by the question “Why do you ask?”
Diya: Fidgets with her coffee cup, her heart racing “I just... was curious. You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to.”
Rudra: Sighs, contemplating her question “I’m not seeing anyone at the moment. Why do you want to know?”
Diya: Tries to hide her disappointment “Just wondered. You’ve always been... so focused on work.”
Rudra: Notices her tone and expression, sensing there’s more to her question “Diya, if you’re feeling...”
Diya: Cuts him off, forcing a smile “It’s nothing. Forget I asked.”
As diya tries to maintain her composure, Rudra 's mind lingers on her question, a hint of concern in his eyes as he watched her leave .
Rudra: Watches Diya leave, his expression thoughtful. He then looks at her retreating figure and murmurs to himself “Maybe I do feel something. Just haven’t figured it out yet.”
Rudra’s thoughts drift back to Aayara. He smiles faintly, realizing that his feelings for her are more complex than he initially thought. He nods to himself, a hint of determination in his eyes, and returns to his work with a new sense of clarity about his emotions.
