Payal ran toward her car, her heart pounding and her mind racing. She couldn’t believe how her body had reacted to Daksh’s touch and breath. She was furious with herself, feeling humiliated and out of control.
As she reached her car, she leaned against it, trying to steady her breathing. "Why did I react like that? How can I let him get under my skin so easily?" Her internal struggle was intense as she tried to reconcile her emotions with the reality of the situation.
She mentally berated herself. "Get it together, Payal. You can’t let him see how much he affects you. You need to stay focused and not let him mess with your mind."
Payal glanced at her reflection in the car window, seeing the confusion and frustration etched on her face. "I need to be stronger than this. I can’t let him make me doubt myself."
With a deep breath, she straightened up and unlocked her car. "I’m not going to let him win. I’ll handle this. I need to stay composed and focus on what’s important."
She got into her car, starting the engine with determined resolve. As she drove away, she focused on clearing her mind and preparing herself to face whatever challenges came next.
In Daksh’s Car
As Daksh drove away from the college, a smirk played on his lips. He recalled how Payal’s cheeks had flushed and how her breath had quickened with just a simple touch. It amused him to no end, and he couldn’t help but whistle a tune, his mood buoyed by the memory.
He thought about how easily he had gotten under her skin. “Looks like I really got to her,” he mused. “A little touch and she’s a mess. Just goes to show how powerful I can be.”
As he drove, he considered how his actions affected Payal. “She’s so easy to rile up. Maybe I should keep pushing her buttons,” he thought. “It’s almost too easy.”
With a playful smirk, he anticipated how their interactions might play out in the future. “Let’s see how she handles me next. This is just getting interesting.”
He decided to keep testing her limits, intrigued by the power dynamics between them. “I wonder how far I can push her before she completely loses it,” he mused as he continued his drive, his mind already plotting his next move.
Daksh’s thoughts reflected his enjoyment in the manipulation and control he felt over Payal, setting the stage for future encounters filled with tension and intrigue.
As Daksh arrived at the mansion, he suddenly realized that he had completely forgotten about Mehak. His eyes widened in surprise. “Oh damn, I left her at college!”
Frustrated with himself, Daksh muttered, “I can’t believe I forgot. She’ll be waiting for me.” He cursed under his breath, irritated by the oversight.
He quickly made a decision. “I need to go back and get her. Can’t leave her hanging at college.” He grabbed his phone to call Mehak and apologize for the delay.
On the phone, he tried to sound casual but couldn’t hide his embarrassment. “Hey, Mehak. I’m really sorry, I totally spaced out and left you at college. I’ll be right back to pick you up.”
Mehak, still waiting at the college, was initially annoyed but accepted the apology with a sigh. “Alright, Daksh. Just hurry up. I’ve been waiting here for a while.”
He drove back to the college, hoping to make up for his lapse. “Better make it up to her somehow,” he thought, focusing on getting there as quickly as possible.
.”
Daksh felt his frustration mount as he searched the campus. His face twisted in annoyance when he couldn’t find Mehak. “Where the hell is she?” he muttered under his breath, growing more impatient.
As he walked outside, his eyes narrowed when he spotted Mehak. She was standing with a group of boys, laughing and seemingly enjoying herself. “Seriously?” he mumbled, a mix of irritation and disbelief in his voice.
He approached the group with a stern expression. “Mehak, what’s going on?” His tone was a blend of annoyance and confusion. “I came back to pick you up, and you’re out here having a good time?”
Surprised and a bit defensive, Mehak replied, “I was waiting for you, and these guys were just being friendly. I didn’t know you’d be so late.”
One of the boys, noticing the tension, chimed in, “Hey man, we were just chatting. No harm done.”
Daksh gave them a dismissive look and turned back to Mehak. “Well, now you’re coming with me. I’m sorry for leaving you waiting, but we need to head back.”
As Daksh approached Mehak, he noticed a cigarette in her hand. His brow furrowed in surprise. “You’re smoking?” he asked, his voice a mix of disbelief and concern.
Mehak tried to downplay it, her face flushing slightly. “It’s just a cigarette, Daksh. It helps me relax.”
He raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. “Relax? You’re barely old enough to be here, and now you’re smoking? That’s not cool, Mehak.”
The boys around her looked uncomfortable, glancing at each other and then at Mehak.
She tried to defend herself, her tone defensive. “It’s not a big deal. Lots of people do it. Besides, it’s not like I’m addicted or anything.”
Daksh shook his head, taking a step closer. “I don’t care if it’s common or not. You’re with me now, and I don’t want you doing things that aren’t good for you. Give me that cigarette.”
Mehak rolled her eyes , and Daksh 's anger flared up .
He grabbed Mehak’s wrist firmly, his voice low and serious. “I’m doing this because of my father’s orders. Otherwise, I wouldn’t give a damn about you or Meera. So just come with me quietly.”
Mehak’s eyes widened in shock and hurt. “What are you talking about? You think I’m just a pawn for you?”
Daksh’s grip tightened slightly, his frustration evident. “Look, Mehak, I don’t have time for this. My father’s orders are clear, and I have to follow them. Don’t make this harder than it needs to be.”
Mehak pulled her wrist away, her face flushed with anger. “So that’s it? I’m just a tool for you to use? You don’t even care about me!”
Daksh’s expression softened momentarily, but he quickly masked it with a cold demeanor. “I’m just doing what I’m told. If you don’t like it, tough luck. But I’m still responsible for you, so come on.”
Mehak crossed her arms, her voice trembling. “I’m not going anywhere with you unless you explain why you’re so cold and what’s really going on.”
Daksh sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. “I don’t have the time or patience for this right now. Either come with me, or I’ll drag you. Your choice.”
Mehak looked away, feeling defeated but knowing she had little choice. “Fine. I’ll come. But don’t think this changes anything.”
Daksh: Daksh nodded, leading her back towards his car. “It won’t. Just keep your head down and stay out of trouble.”
