Payal: muttering to herself, gripping her sandwich tightly "Who does he think he is? Flirting with her right in front of me."
Abhay: noticing her discomfort "Hey, Payal, you alright?"
Payal: forcing a smile "Yeah, just a bit... annoyed, I guess."
Ayush: glancing over at Daksh and Ananya "Daksh’s charm never fails, does it?"
Payal: looking away "Yeah, but sometimes it’s just too much."
Abhay: "Are you sure you’re okay? You look pretty upset."
Payal: trying to calm herself "It’s nothing. I just need to focus on my studies."
Ayush: nodding "If you need to talk, we’re here for you."
As she watches Daksh laughing and chatting with Ananya, Payal’s frustration grows, feeling overshadowed and hurt by Daksh’s attention on someone else.
Rayansh: gently placing his hand on her shoulder "Hey, Payal. How about we go grab some coffee and talk? It might help take your mind off things."
Payal: looking up at him, trying to mask her emotions "Yeah, that sounds good. Thanks, Rayansh."
Rayansh: smiling warmly "No problem. Let’s get out of here."
As they walk away from the cafeteria, Payal feels a mix of relief and uncertainty, appreciating Rayansh's gesture but still grappling with her feelings about Daksh.
Payal: stirring her coffee, deep in thought "How can I even like someone like Daksh? He’s such a player, and yet... every time I see him, I can't help but feel... something."
Rayansh: noticing her distraction "Everything okay, Payal?"
Payal: forcing a smile "Yeah, just... thinking about stuff. Thanks for being here, Rayansh. I guess I needed a friend."
Rayansh: nodding sympathetically "Of course. I’m here whenever you need to talk or just hang out. Sometimes it helps to have someone to vent to."
As they continue their conversation, Payal feels a bit of comfort but remains conflicted about her feelings for Daksh and the confusion he brings into her life.
Daksh: walking over with Annaya, smirking "Hey Payal, Rayansh. Nice to see you both. Enjoying your morning?"
Annaya: giving Payal a sweet smile "Hi Payal. Hi Rayansh."
Payal: forcing a smile, trying to hide her frustration "Hi Daksh. Annaya."
Rayansh: noticing the tension "Morning, Daksh. Annaya. Everything alright?"
Daksh: leaning casually against the counter "Oh, just a regular day. Thought I’d join you guys. Payal, you look a bit... tense. Everything okay?"
Payal: biting her lip, trying to stay calm "I’m fine. Just... thinking."
Daksh: with a teasing tone "Alright, if you say so. Anyway, enjoy your coffee. Annaya, let's get some breakfast."
As Daksh and Annaya move away, Payal’s gaze lingers on Daksh, her feelings of jealousy and frustration mixing with the unresolved emotions she has for him.
Daksh: turning back to Payal with a smirk "By the way, Payal, I heard something interesting. Tonight's race—Sahil's going to lose against Rudra. My brother’s really been preparing for this one."
Payal: surprised and a bit annoyed "Is that so? I didn’t realize you were so invested in the races."
Daksh: raising an eyebrow "Oh, I’m always interested in a bit of competition. It’s not just about winning for me; it’s about watching the show unfold. Rudra’s been training hard."
Rayansh: trying to defuse the tension "Sounds like an exciting race. I’m sure it’ll be a good one."
Payal: trying to stay composed "I’m sure it will be. Good luck to your brother then."
Daksh: smirking "Thanks, Payal. Maybe next time you’ll catch the race. Who knows, you might enjoy it."
Daksh then turns back to Annaya, leaving Payal stewing over his comments and the upcoming race.
Daksh: grinning as he grabs Ananya’s waist "Let’s head outside. I’ve got some plans for us."
Ananya: laughing lightly "Alright, lead the way."
As they walk out, Daksh notices Payal’s irritation and smirks, knowing he’s hit a nerve.
Payal: furious and throwing her coffee into the dustbin "Ugh, why do I even let him get to me?"
She storms off, determined to shake off her frustration and focus on something productive.
Daksh: moving away from Ananya with a smirk "I have some things to take care of. I'll catch up with you later."
Ananya: looking confused "Oh, okay. See you later then."
Daksh watches her walk away, his attention shifting as he spots Rayansh and Payal heading in the opposite direction. He decides to follow, eager to stir the pot further.
Daksh: approaching Payal and Rayansh with a smug expression "Rayansh, Payal. What a lovely sight. You two seem quite cozy."
Rayansh: glancing up with a smirk "Just enjoying the day, Daksh. What’s up?"
Daksh: leaning closer to Payal, deliberately ignoring Rayansh "I heard you’re feeling a bit out of place. Maybe I should keep an eye on you to make sure you’re alright."
Payal: tightening her grip on her bag, clearly irritated "I’m fine, Daksh. I don’t need your help."
Daksh: raising an eyebrow "Are you sure? It’s a big campus. People can get lost... or worse."
Rayansh: frowning slightly "Daksh, maybe you should—"
Daksh: cutting him off "Just looking out for Payal, Rayansh. No need to make a big deal out of it."
He turns back to Payal, his gaze intense as he leans in slightly, making sure she feels the weight of his words.
Daksh: leaning closer, his voice low and intense "I’ve got a race tonight. It would be interesting to see you there. After all, it’s not every day you get to witness a showdown between my brother and his rival."
Payal: trying to keep her composure, her heart racing at his close proximity "Why would I want to be there, Daksh? I don’t see how it concerns me."
Daksh: smirking, his gaze never leaving hers "Oh, but it does. You might find it... enlightening. And who knows? Maybe it’ll be a good distraction from whatever's been bothering you."
Rayansh: noticing the tension "Daksh, I think you’re pushing it a bit."
Daksh: raising an eyebrow "Just extending an invitation. Payal, the choice is yours. But I have a feeling you’ll find it hard to resist."
He turns on his heel and walks away, leaving Payal with his words lingering in her mind and a sense of unease about the upcoming race.
