***author's pov***
Daksh walked into the college, his signature smirk plastered across his face. The moment he entered, heads turned, and whispers filled the hallway. As the most handsome and popular jock in the entire college, he exuded confidence that was impossible to ignore.
Groups of girls giggled as he passed by, their eyes following his every move. His presence was magnetic, and everyone knew it.
He adjusted his jacket, casually brushing his hair back as he made his way toward his group of friends. The admiration and attention didn't faze him-it was just another day in the life of DAKSH OBEROI SINGHANIA.
Abhay and Ayush watched Daksh with a mix of admiration and curiosity as he approached. Their expressions were a blend of friendly teasing and genuine respect.
Abhay, with a grin, called out, "Look at Mr. Popular making his grand entrance. What's the plan today, Daksh? Another conquest?"
Ayush joined in, his tone light and playful, "Yeah, or are you just here to bless us with your presence?"
Daksh smirked, unfazed by their banter. "Just here to keep things interesting, as usual. What's up with you two?"
Abhay's eyes lit up. "Totally! I've been looking forward to this trip for weeks. It's going to be epic."
Ayush nodded eagerly. "Same here. I've heard the Andaman Islands are stunning. I'm pumped for the adventure."
Daksh chuckled, "Yeah, it should be a blast. Just hope we don't run into too many problems. You know how things can get with me."
Abhay smirked, "With you around, I'm sure there'll be no shortage of excitement."
Ayush added, "Well, let's make the most of it and enjoy the trip. It's not every day we get such a chance."
The group continued chatting, their excitement for the upcoming trip palpable.
Abhay nudged Daksh with a grin, nodding towards Payal and Rayansh approaching. "Hey, check it out. Your favorite duo is coming this way."
Daksh glanced over and raised an eyebrow, a smirk forming on his lips. Payal and Rayansh walked up, their conversation light and cheerful. Daksh leaned back, waiting for them to reach him.
Daksh let out a sharp whistle, mocking Payal and Rayansh as they approached. "Look who's here. The happy couple themselves. Ready for the trip?"
He gave them a taunting grin, clearly enjoying the way their presence seemed to ruffle his friends' feathers.
Payal looked at Daksh with a mix of annoyance and exhaustion. Ignoring his taunts, she turned her attention back to Rayansh, hoping to avoid any further confrontation. She focused on preparing for the upcoming trip, determined not to let Daksh's antics ruin her mood.
Daksh's smirk faded as he watched Payal ignore him. Scoffing, he called out, "Nerd," with a mix of frustration and mockery. His attempt to get a rise out of her only seemed to make her more determined to keep her cool.
Rayansh placed a reassuring hand on Payal's shoulder and said, "Just ignore them. They're not worth your time." His calm demeanor helped Payal regain her composure as they walked past Daksh and his friends.
Daksh raised an eyebrow and smirked, "This guy's got some nerve, doesn't he?" He watched as Rayansh and Payal walked away, amused by Rayansh's calm response to his taunts.
Abhay and Ayush smirked, exchanging knowing glances as they gaslighted Daksh.
Abhay nudged him, "Looks like someone's a bit sensitive about his girlfriend, huh?"
Ayush added, "Yeah, maybe Rayansh's trying to show you up. Are you really gonna let him take the spotlight?"
Daksh clenched his jaw, visibly irritated, but tried to maintain his composure.
Daksh rolled his eyes, "Who's his girlfriend? Are you guys seriously trying to make this about me?"
He glanced at Payal and Rayansh, then back at his friends, clearly unamused by their attempts to rile him up.
***After the classes ****
Abhay: "You seem off today, Daksh. What's up?"
Daksh: sighs "It's nothing. Just a rough day yesterday."
Ayush: "Rough day? With the way you're acting, it looks like something more serious happened."
Daksh: "I had a run-in with Payal. She's been acting all high and mighty, and I just can't stand it."
Abhay: "What happened?"
Daksh: "She was with Rayansh. They were all cozy, and it drove me nuts. I ended up making a scene."
Ayush: "And?"
Daksh: "And then I saw her at the library, and I... I don't know. I lost my cool."
Abhay: "Damn, that sounds rough. Maybe you should try talking to her and clearing things up."
Daksh: "I don't think talking will help. She's got this attitude now, and it's just infuriating."
Ayush: "You should be careful, Daksh. Losing your cool might just push her further away."
Daksh: "I know. It's just... I can't help how I feel. She makes me so mad."
Abhay: "Just try not to let it consume you. You've got better things to focus on."
Daksh: "Yeah, I guess. I'll try to keep it together."
Ayush: "Good plan. Let's just hope things calm down soon."
Daksh: "Yeah, let's hope so."
Abhay smirked as he motioned daksh to look at a girl in a short dress coming towards them ...
Daksh: smiling charmingly "Hey, I don't think we've met before. I'm Daksh. What's your name?"
Girl: giggling "I'm Ananya. Nice to meet you, Daksh."
Daksh: "Nice to meet you too, Ananya. You have a really great smile."
Ananya: blushing "Thank you! You're quite charming yourself."
Daksh: leaning closer "So, what are you up to today? Mind if I join you?"
Ananya: smiling shyly "Sure, I was just grabbing a bite. Feel free to sit."
Daksh: sitting down "Perfect. So, tell me, what's something interesting about you that I should know?"
Ananya: laughing "Well, I love dancing. It's my passion. What about you?"
Daksh: grinning "I'm into cars and racing. But I'd love to hear more about your dancing. Maybe you can show me some moves sometime?"
Ananya: playfully "I might just take you up on that offer."
Daksh: smirking "Looking forward to it. So, how's your day been so far?"
Ananya: looking pleased "It's been good, but it's definitely better now that I'm talking to you."
Daksh: "I'm glad to hear that. I'm sure the rest of your day will be even better."
Ananya: blushing "I hope so."
Daksh: taking a sip of his drink "So, what's your favorite place to go dancing? Maybe we can check it out together sometime."
Ananya: smiling "That sounds like a great idea. There's a place downtown I go to often."
Daksh: enthusiastically "Perfect. Let's plan for it."
