As the sun barely peeked through the clouds, the family gathered around the breakfast table, the air filled with the scent of freshly brewed coffee and warm toast. Aayara sat quietly, her mind still reeling from the previous day’s events with Arjun.

Meera chatted animatedly about her plans for the day, while Daksh and Rudra exchanged playful banter. Arjun entered last, his presence commanding attention as he took his seat. He glanced at Aayara, a smirk playing on his lips, and she quickly averted her gaze, her heart racing at the memory of their kiss.

The tension at the table was palpable, especially when Meera brought up the upcoming family gathering. "I expect everyone to behave," she said, eyeing Arjun pointedly. "No drama this time."

Aayara felt her stomach churn at the thought of facing Arjun and the family dynamics. She pushed her food around on her plate, lost in thought, while the others continued their lighthearted conversation.

As the meal progressed, Aayara sensed Arjun's eyes on her, and each glance sent shivers down her spine. She couldn’t shake the feeling that the calm morning was just the calm before a storm.

Arjun cleared his throat, raising his glass to capture everyone’s attention. The room fell silent, the playful banter replaced by an air of curiosity and anticipation.

“Thank you for gathering here today,” he began, a confident smile on his face. “I have a significant announcement to make.”

Aayara’s heart raced. She felt a mix of anxiety and dread, unsure of what was coming.

“I am pleased to announce that I will be marrying Aayara Sharma,” he stated, his voice steady and commanding.

Gasps filled the room, and Aayara's eyes widened in shock. Meera looked stunned, while Daksh raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips.

“Wait, what?” Meera finally managed to say, her tone incredulous. “You can’t be serious!”

Arjun leaned back in his chair, an amused expression on his face as he surveyed the reactions. “I am very serious. Aayara is my future wife.”

Aayara felt the weight of everyone’s gaze on her, her cheeks burning. She wanted to protest, to argue, but the words wouldn’t come. Instead, she sat frozen, her mind racing with a mix of disbelief and confusion.

Rudra's eyes narrowed as he processed Arjun's announcement. The shock of the situation churned in his stomach. "How could you decide this so suddenly?" he demanded, his voice low and tense. "What’s the real reason behind this?"

Arjun shrugged, a hint of arrogance in his demeanor. "It’s simple. I want her, and I don’t see any reason to wait."

Rudra clenched his jaw, his protective instincts flaring. "Aayara deserves better than to be a pawn in your games. You can’t just treat this like a business deal."

Arjun's smirk faded slightly, replaced by a more serious expression. "I’m not playing games, Rudra. Aayara is more than capable of making her own choices."

Aayara glanced between them, feeling the tension escalate. "I didn’t agree to this," she finally spoke, her voice shaky but firm. "I don’t want to be part of any arrangement."

Rudra stepped closer to her, visibly concerned. "You don’t have to do this, Aayara. We can figure something out."

Arjun leaned forward, fixing Aayara with an intense gaze. "This isn’t a choice you can avoid. You’re already tied to this."

Rudra shot Arjun a glare, unwilling to back down. "You need to give her space to think. This isn't just about you."

The atmosphere thickened with tension, the future of their lives hanging in the balance.

Daksh pulled Rudra aside, sensing the escalating tension. "Calm down, Rudra. You know how Arjun is; pushing him won't help," he said in a low voice, trying to diffuse the situation.

Rudra shook his head, frustration evident in his features. "This isn’t just about Arjun’s whims, Daksh! Aayara deserves better than to be used as a pawn in his game."

"I get that," Daksh replied, glancing back at the table where Aayara sat, her expression troubled. "But confronting him like this could make things worse. We need to be smart about it."

Rudra sighed, running a hand through his hair. "So what do you suggest? Just let him steamroll over her?"

Daksh looked thoughtful for a moment. "Maybe we can talk to Aayara, help her see what she wants. If she’s against this, we need to support her decision together."

Rudra nodded reluctantly, still feeling the weight of the situation. "You're right. We can't let Arjun control everything. We’ll figure this out—together."

With a shared understanding, they returned to the table, ready to support Aayara in whatever choice she made.

Meera clenched her jaw, fury rising within her. "How could he even think of marrying a poor girl like Aayara?" she muttered to herself, pacing the room. "He brought her into this house to satisfy his desires, not to make her family."

Her mind raced as she envisioned the implications of Aayara becoming part of their family. "This is unacceptable. A girl like her cannot be my bahu!"

Determined, Meera plotted her next move. "I won’t let this happen. I’ll make sure Arjun understands that marrying her would tarnish our name."

She glanced at the mirror, fixing her hair with a steely resolve. "I need to talk to him—now." With that thought, she strode out of the room, ready to confront her son and protect what she believed was rightfully theirs.
