The man groaned in pain, trying to pry Daksh's hand off his collar. "Why are you protecting her? She's your rival's sister!" he spat, his voice filled with confusion and defiance.

Daksh's grip tightened, his eyes cold and unwavering. "That's none of your business," he growled. "Touch her again, and I'll make sure you regret it."

He shoved the man back, sending him stumbling into the wall. Turning to Payal, Daksh's expression softened just for a moment, but his voice remained firm. "Let's go," he said, grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the restroom before the man could react further.

Payal, still shaken, let herself be led away, her heart pounding from the encounter. She stole a glance at Daksh, who was still fuming, the tension in his body palpable as they walked.

Daksh didn't stop until they reached his private room near the race arena, shutting the door behind them with a firm click. The room was dimly lit, and the faint hum of the crowd outside was barely audible. He ran a hand through his hair, clearly still agitated, before turning to face Payal.

She stood there, her eyes wide with a mixture of confusion and anxiety. Her hands nervously clasped together as she watched him pace.

"Why did you even come here?" Daksh finally snapped, his voice low but filled with frustration. "You know how dangerous this place can be. And that guy-he could've..." He trailed off, visibly trying to control his anger.

Payal bit her lip, feeling a knot in her stomach. "I didn't know things would get like this... I just-" she stopped, unsure of what to say.

Daksh stepped closer, his intense gaze locking onto hers. "You're my responsibility now, Payal. Whether you like it or not, I won't let anyone hurt you." His voice dropped lower, the words almost a growl.

Payal felt her breath hitch as his proximity and the intensity of his gaze sent a shiver down her spine. "Daksh..." she whispered, not sure how to respond.

Daksh's frustration boiled over as he looked at Payal's dress, his eyes flashing with anger. "Why the hell did you wear that?" he snapped, his voice harsh. "Trying to show off your legs or something?"

Payal flinched at his tone, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment and confusion. "I-I didn't think..." she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I just wanted to look nice..."

Daksh's expression softened slightly as he saw the hurt in her eyes. "Nice?" he repeated, his tone still sharp but with a hint of frustration. "You look like you're trying to get attention. You know what kind of place this is!"

She looked down, her shoulders slumping. "I didn't mean to cause any trouble. I just wanted to be here for Sahil."

Daksh took a deep breath, trying to control his anger. "Just... just be careful, okay? This isn't the place for showing off or attracting unwanted attention."

Payal nodded, her voice trembling slightly. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize..."

He sighed, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "Just stay close. I don't want you getting hurt."

The tension in the room lingered as Daksh tried to calm down, his protective instincts battling with his anger.

Daksh, overwhelmed by frustration, tugged at his hair and turned to Payal. "You always make me mad, Payal Khurana!" he shouted, his voice echoing with anger and exasperation.

Payal's eyes widened with shock and hurt. "I didn't mean to upset you!" she pleaded, her voice trembling.

Daksh's face softened slightly as he saw her distress. "I know," he said, his tone now weary. "It's just... sometimes you do things that make me lose my patience. I don't want you to get hurt or be in trouble."

Payal nodded, her gaze dropping to the floor. "I understand. I'll be more careful."

He sighed deeply, rubbing his temples. "Just... stay safe, okay? I don't want to see you getting caught up in any more trouble."

She nodded again, silently accepting his words as he struggled to calm his own rising frustration.

Payal trembled in fear, her eyes wide as she looked at Daksh's face, which was flushed with anger and darkened with frustration. His intense gaze made her feel small and vulnerable.

"I-I'm sorry," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't mean to make you angry."

Daksh's expression softened slightly, but his frustration was still evident. "Just... be careful," he said, his voice strained but less harsh. "I don't want anything happening to you."

His anger seemed to dissipate a bit as he saw her fear and vulnerability, but the tension between them remained. He took a deep breath, trying to regain his composure, while Payal stood there, shivering and overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment.

Daksh walked towards Payal slowly, his steps measured and deliberate. Each step seemed to increase the tension in the room. As he approached her, Payal's heart raced even faster, her eyes fixed on him, trying to gauge his next move.

"Listen," Daksh said, his voice low but firm, "I'm not trying to hurt you. I just... don't want you to get hurt. You don't understand the kind of trouble you're inviting."

Payal swallowed hard, nodding as she tried to steady her breath. She was torn between the fear of his anger and the desperation to make things right between them. Daksh stopped a few inches away from her, his gaze intense yet conflicted.

"I need you to be more careful," he continued, his voice softer now, though still carrying a weight of urgency. "We're not just playing around here. There are real dangers."

His tone held a mix of frustration and concern, revealing a side of him that was rarely shown. Payal could sense the complexity of his emotions, making her realize that there was more to his anger than just irritation.

Daksh pulled Payal by the wrist, drawing her close into a tight hug. The embrace was unexpected, and for a moment, Payal was stunned. His arms were firm around her, and she could feel the rapid beat of his heart against her.

"I'm sorry," he murmured into her hair, his voice rough but sincere. "I just... I don't want to see you get hurt. I care about you more than you know."

Payal's fear began to melt away, replaced by a mix of relief and confusion. She hesitated for a moment before gently placing her hands on his back, feeling the warmth and strength of his embrace.

Daksh pulled back slightly, his hands still resting on her shoulders. He looked into her eyes, a serious expression on his face. "Just stay safe, okay? This isn't a game."
