Aayara's breath hitched as Arjun pressed her against the wall, his gaze intense and seething with anger. "How dare you oppose my decision!" he growled, his voice low and threatening.
She looked up at him, heart racing. "I—I didn’t mean to, Arjun. I just thought—"
"You thought what?" he interrupted, leaning closer, his face inches from hers. "That you have a say in this? You’re my property, Aayara. You don’t get to question me."
Aayara swallowed hard, trying to muster her courage. "I’m not a possession. I have feelings, too!"
Arjun smirked, his expression shifting slightly. "Feelings? You think that matters? You’ll learn your place, and soon enough, you’ll realize this is for your own good."
He stepped back slightly, still holding her wrist tightly, his grip possessive yet oddly electrifying. Aayara could feel the heat radiating from him, mixing with her confusion and anger.
"Just accept it," he said, his tone softening for a moment. "You might even come to like it."
Aayara narrowed her eyes, determination rising within her. "I will never accept being treated like this."
Arjun’s smile returned, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "We’ll see about that."
Arjun opened the drawer, pulling out a neatly folded contract. He smoothed it out on the table, his demeanor shifting back to business-like seriousness.
"This," he said, glancing at Aayara, "is a contract that binds you to me. It outlines everything—our agreement, your duties, and the consequences of defiance."
Aayara's heart raced as she took a step closer, eyes fixed on the document. "You can't be serious. I won’t sign anything."
He chuckled darkly. "Oh, but you will. You see, this isn't just a mere contract; it's a promise of your future. You’ll have protection, a place in this world—if you cooperate."
Aayara shook her head, anger rising. "I refuse to be coerced like this. I’m not a bargaining chip!"
Arjun stepped closer again, his tone icy. "You are exactly that, Aayara. Whether you accept it or not, you belong to me. And if you don’t sign, there will be repercussions."
Her breath quickened as she realized the weight of his words. "What do you mean by repercussions?"
He leaned in, his voice a whisper, laced with menace. "I will ensure that you regret ever opposing me. Think carefully, Aayara."
She felt trapped, the tension crackling in the air. Could she really go through with this? The answer lingered in the silence between them, heavy and foreboding.
Arjun Smirked..". It was ur father last time ... Want ur sister to be second? "
Aayara's breath caught in her throat, her eyes widening in shock. "How dare you bring my family into this!"
Arjun's smirk deepened, his gaze unwavering. "You know how this world works, Aayara. If you don't comply, I can make life very difficult for those you care about. Your sister could be next."
Her heart raced as she fought against the fear rising within her. "You're despicable."
He leaned closer, his expression cold and calculating. "And yet, you hold the power to change everything. Sign the contract, and I can protect your family. Refuse, and you know the consequences."
Aayara clenched her fists, torn between her resolve and the reality of her situation. "This isn't how relationships work."
Arjun stepped back, crossing his arms. "This isn't a relationship; it's a transaction. You would do well to remember that."
The tension in the room was palpable as she weighed her options, knowing that her next move could alter the course of her life forever.
Aayara bit her lip and snatches the paper signing it ...
Arjun raised an eyebrow as she quickly signed the contract, the pen trembling slightly in her hand. "Smart choice," he said, his voice low and satisfied.
Aayara looked up at him, defiance flickering in her eyes despite the fear churning in her stomach. "Don't think this means I’ll accept you easily. I’ll never be yours."
He chuckled, a dark glint in his eyes. "You might surprise yourself, Aayara. After all, this isn't just about obedience. It’s about power, and I hold all the cards."
As he took the signed contract from her, a wave of dread washed over her. She had sealed her fate, but deep down, she vowed to fight against the control he sought to impose on her.
"Now," Arjun said, folding the paper and tucking it away, "let's make sure everyone knows you belong to me."
Aayara took a step back, her heart racing. "You can't just force me into this!"
He stepped closer again, invading her space. "But I already have. The real question is: how will you handle it?"
As the intensity of his gaze bore down on her, Aayara realized this was just the beginning of a dangerous game.
Arjun Smirked..." Wifey .... We will marry 5 days later ... Be ready ... "
Aayara's heart raced at his words, a mix of fear and anger surging through her. "Five days? You can't be serious!"
Arjun leaned closer, his voice a low whisper. "Oh, I am very serious. Prepare yourself. This is no longer just a contract; it’s a commitment."
She swallowed hard, trying to maintain her composure. "You think you can just dictate my life?"
He chuckled softly, the smirk never leaving his lips. "That’s exactly what I plan to do. You’ll learn your place soon enough, Aayara. Just remember, I always get what I want."
With that, he turned and left the room, leaving her standing there, grappling with the reality of her situation. Five days felt impossibly short, and the thought of marrying a man like Arjun sent shivers down her spine. But somewhere deep within, a flicker of rebellion ignited. She wouldn't let him break her spirit.
