Rudra watched Aayara's figure until she disappeared behind the closed door, a lump forming in his throat. The ache in his chest deepened as he realized the reality of the situation: his unrequited love for her could ruin everything.

He had always respected Arjun, admired his strength and ruthlessness, but now that admiration was tinged with fear. The thought of crossing that line and pursuing Aayara, knowing how fiercely Arjun protected what was his, sent chills down his spine. He knew better than to tread on dangerous ground.

What am I thinking? he scolded himself, running a hand through his messy hair. She’s his wife. The longing in his heart was suffocating, but he couldn’t allow it to spiral out of control. He needed to maintain the fragile balance of their relationships, especially with Arjun.

Rudra took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. I can’t let this happen. He forced himself to focus on the work ahead, pushing aside the feelings that threatened to consume him. It was time to bury his emotions and protect the bonds he valued most—before they shattered under the weight of desire.

________

As Meera and Dia sat in the living room, sipping tea and exchanging conspiratorial glances, a wicked idea began to form.

"Tonight's dinner party is the perfect opportunity," Dia said, her voice dripping with malice. "We need to teach Aayara a lesson."

Meera smirked, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Let’s embarrass her in front of everyone. It’ll be a spectacle Arjun won’t forget. We could prepare a toast in her honor but twist it into a joke about how she’s ‘stolen’ his heart, or better yet, his attention."

Dia nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! And maybe we can have some of the guests share their 'fondest' memories of Aayara, but make them ridiculous or suggestive. It’ll show everyone how unworthy she is of being Arjun’s wife."

Meera leaned in, her voice lowered conspiratorially. "And let’s make sure to invite those who are aware of her past. They can add to the humiliation, revealing things she’d rather keep hidden. It’ll be perfect for shaking Arjun's composure."

As they plotted, both women reveled in the thought of Aayara's mortification, unaware of the storm brewing in the shadows with Arjun, who would never allow anyone to disrespect his wife, no matter the circumstances.

With their plan set in motion, Meera and Dia felt a sense of triumph, but they didn’t realize they were walking a dangerous line. Arjun's possessiveness would soon come to a head, and they would find themselves caught in the crossfire of his wrath.

________THE DINNER PARTY

Aayara stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the black net saree that hugged her curves, accentuating her figure beautifully. The delicate fabric shimmered under the soft light of the room, and she felt a wave of confidence wash over her. As she applied a touch of makeup, she couldn’t help but smile, imagining Arjun’s reaction when he saw her.
