Aayara sat on the edge of the bed, her body trembling as silent tears streamed down her face. The overwhelming fear and confusion weighed heavily on her chest. She clutched the fabric of her lehenga tightly, feeling trapped in her new reality.
Arjun, noticing her quiet sobs, rolled his eyes in frustration. "You never stop, do you?" he muttered under his breath, shaking his head. Without offering any further words, he grabbed his towel, clearly annoyed by the emotional atmosphere, and headed towards the bathroom.
The sound of the door closing behind him echoed in the room, leaving Aayara alone in the suffocating silence, her tears the only thing breaking it.
Aayara lay curled up on the bed, her body trembling uncontrollably. Pain coursed through her, both physical and emotional, as she clutched her stomach, feeling hollow and broken. Her mind kept replaying the moment when her last shred of pride-her virginity-was taken away. She felt violated, her spirit shattered.
Tears streamed down her face, soaking the pillow beneath her, but no amount of crying could wash away the pain she was feeling. The room felt suffocating, a silent witness to her suffering. She had lost more than just her body that night; she had lost a part of herself.
Arjun stepped out of the bathroom, his face hardening as he took in the sight of Aayara's tear-streaked face. Her fragile form lay on the bed, and the raw pain in her eyes seemed to irritate him more than anything.
Clenching his jaw, he strode over and stood towering above her, his voice cold and sharp. "Stop crying like some helpless princess," he spat. "Go and clean yourself up. You're not special, Aayara. Get used to it."
He turned away dismissively, his indifference stinging more than his words, leaving her feeling even more trapped and helpless.
Aayara clutched the blanket tightly around her trembling body, struggling to maintain her composure as she stood up. Every step felt like agony, her body aching from the brutality of the night. With a soft limp, she made her way to the bathroom, her bare feet brushing against the cold floor.
The weight of everything crashed down on her as she reached the door, her mind swirling with thoughts of what had been taken from her. Still, she forced herself forward, determined not to break entirely in front of Arjun.
Aayara stepped under the cold shower, the water cascading over her bruised and aching body. As the water hit her skin, she pressed her hand against the tiles for support, her silent sobs echoing softly in the confined space. Tears mixed with the water, streaming down her face, as she let the overwhelming pain, both physical and emotional, consume her.
The once comforting embrace of water now only reminded her of the emptiness and loss she felt inside, but still, she cried silently, not wanting to be heard, not wanting to show her brokenness.
Aayara emerged from the bathroom, her body still shivering as she clutched the bathrobe tightly around herself. Her eyes were red and puffy from crying, but she remained silent, avoiding Arjun's gaze. The room felt cold, and the weight of what had happened pressed down on her shoulders. She moved slowly, feeling weak, and sat down on the edge of the bed, unsure of what to expect next.
Arjun glanced at her, but he didn't say anything, his expression unreadable. The silence in the room was heavy, filled with unspoken tension.
Arjun was sitting on the couch , his face still cold and expression -less.. " change the sheets of bed ! Don't look my face ... You look pathetic . " He spat and continued staring at his phone .
Aayara flinched at Arjun's harsh words, her heart sinking even further. She stood up, her legs trembling as she made her way to the bed, carefully pulling off the soiled sheets, her hands shaking with every movement. She avoided his gaze, her face pale and filled with pain, both physical and emotional.
Arjun's eyes remained cold as he watched her, his words cutting deep. "Do it quickly. I can't stand the sight of you right now," he muttered, turning away as if she disgusted him. Aayara swallowed hard, her chest tightening, but she said nothing, continuing her task in silence.
The room remained tense, with only the rustling of the sheets breaking the heavy stillness.
After changing the sheets, Aayara slipped quietly into bed, her body still aching and her mind numb from the events of the night. She pulled the blanket tightly around her, curling up on her side, trying to find some warmth and comfort in the cold, vast room.
Arjun remained on the couch, his eyes closed as if he was trying to sleep, but his presence loomed large, making the space feel suffocating. Aayara's mind raced with confusion and fear, but exhaustion overtook her as her eyes eventually closed, drifting into a restless sleep.
ARJUN walked to her and pulled the blanket .. away . " Ooh sleeping here? Dear wifey... Is this your bed? Huh .. get your ass off and sleep on the couch! " He growled .
Aayara jolted awake, fear gripping her as Arjun yanked the blanket off her. His harsh words cut through the stillness of the room. Trembling, she slowly sat up, her body aching as she moved. She didn't dare to protest; she knew better than to defy him.
With her head lowered, she slipped off the bed, clutching the blanket tightly as she made her way to the cold, hard couch. Her heart sank, but she knew this was her reality now. Silent tears slipped down her face as she lay on the couch, trying to stifle her sobs.
Arjun smirked with satisfaction as he watched Aayara curl up on the couch. Without another word, he laid down on the bed, his eyes closing as he drifted into sleep. To him, the night had gone exactly as planned.
Meanwhile, Aayara lay awake, her mind racing with pain and fear, unable to find any comfort in the cold, unfamiliar place she now called home.
