Payal paced the living room, her fingers trembling as she clutched her phone. Her eyes darted toward the clock-it had been over two hours since Aayara and Meera had left. Something was wrong. Her instincts screamed at her that this wasn't just a delay.
She glanced at Dia, who was sitting on the couch, equally restless. Dia sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Payal, this... this doesn't feel right. I can't shake off this uneasiness. What if something happened to them?"
Payal froze, her hand hovering over her phone. She gulped down her fear and whispered, "I... I think we should call Arjun bhaiya."
Dia nodded hesitantly, her face pale. "We have no choice. If anything's happened, he needs to know now."
With shaky hands, Payal dialed Arjun's number. It rang once, twice, and then his deep, commanding voice answered. "Payal?"
"Bhaiya!" Payal stuttered, her voice cracking under the weight of her anxiety. "A-Aayara... Meera... they haven't returned yet. It's been hours. I-I think something is wrong."
There was silence on the other end, but it wasn't the comforting kind. It was the calm before a storm.
"What do you mean?" Arjun's voice was sharp, cold, and terrifyingly quiet.
Payal's voice trembled as she tried to explain. "Meera took Aayara and Abhi to the Kuldevta Mandir for blessings, but they haven't come back. It's been over two hours, and-"
Before she could finish, Arjun's growl cut through the line. "Stay where you are. I'm coming."
The line went dead.
Payal turned to Dia, tears brimming in her eyes. "I told him. He's on his way. But Dia... what if something's happened to them?"
Dia grabbed Payal's hand, trying to steady her. "Arjun bhaiya will handle it. He won't let anything happen to Aayara or Abhi."

In the towering Oberoi Industries conference room, Arjun's phone clattered onto the table as he shot up from his chair. His sharp features were set in a deadly scowl, his entire frame vibrating with tension.
"Boss?" one of the businessmen hesitated, confused by Arjun's sudden movement.
Arjun's jaw tightened as he ignored the room entirely. His brothers, Rudra and Daksh, exchanged worried glances.
"Bhai, what's wrong?" Rudra asked, already on his feet.
"My wife and son are missing," Arjun spat, his voice cold and deadly.
The air in the room grew heavy. The businessmen stared in stunned silence, unsure of how to react.
"But sir, the deal-" one of them began, only to stop mid-sentence when Arjun turned to him, grabbing his collar with terrifying force.
"Fuck the deal!" Arjun roared, his fury palpable. "My family comes first."
The man paled, stammering an apology as Arjun released him, stepping back.
Rudra and Daksh immediately followed their brother out of the room. "What happened?" Daksh demanded as they walked briskly toward the parking lot.
"Meera took Aayara and Abhi to the temple," Arjun said through gritted teeth. "They haven't returned. Payal thinks something's wrong."
Rudra clenched his fists, his usual calm demeanor replaced by an icy rage. "If Meera's behind this..."
"She's dead," Daksh finished, his tone matching Rudra's.
The three brothers piled into Arjun's car, with Arjun behind the wheel. He revved the engine, his hands gripping the steering wheel so tightly his knuckles turned white.
"Call security," Arjun ordered Rudra, his voice low but brimming with authority. "Lock down the city. I want every road, every alley, and every corner searched. Find them."
Rudra nodded, pulling out his phone to relay the orders.
In the back seat, Daksh leaned forward, his voice tense. "We'll get them back, bhai. We always do."
Arjun didn't respond. His jaw was clenched, his eyes dark with fury and determination. His mind raced with possibilities, each worse than the last.
"If Meera's hurt them," Arjun muttered under his breath, his voice like a deadly promise, "she won't live to regret it."
The car sped through the streets, weaving in and out of traffic as the brothers prepared for the storm that was about to unfold.

Aayara's heart pounded in her chest as she ran across the scorching sand, her bare feet burning with each desperate step. Her tears blurred her vision, but she didn't care. She had to reach them. She had to reach her son.
In the distance, she saw a figure standing near a helipad, her breath catching in her throat. She knew that figure. Meera. Her body tensed with a mixture of fear and anger. The sight of her-standing there so calmly, so smug-set Aayara's blood on fire.
She sprinted toward her, her arms outstretched, calling out to her son. "Abhi! Abhi!" But before she could reach him, two men appeared out of nowhere, grabbing her by the arms, pulling her back forcefully.
"No! Let me go!" Aayara screamed, fighting against their hold, but the men were too strong. She struggled, thrashing in their grasp, her heart breaking as she saw her son in Meera's arms, held securely, but so far away.
Meera's cold, mocking smirk met Aayara's frantic gaze. "You really think you can stop me now, Aayara?" she sneered, her voice dripping with malice. "Your son is mine now. Just like everything else."
Tears streamed down Aayara's face as she pleaded, her voice trembling with desperation. "Give him back to me, Meera! Please! He's my son! You've already taken everything from me! Why are you doing this?"
Meera's smirk only grew wider, her eyes gleaming with a cruel satisfaction. She ignored Aayara's pleas, cradling the child in her arms. Aayara's heart shattered as she screamed, "First you killed his mother! Now you want my son too! You're a vixen, Meera!"
Meera stepped back, her lips curling into a wicked smile. "You're too weak, Aayara. Your son's fate was sealed the moment you stepped into my path."
Aayara's breath hitched, the words cutting through her like a blade. Her world was crumbling around her, and there was nothing she could do to stop it. "No, Meera! Let go of my son! Please, I beg you!"
But Meera only laughed, the sound harsh and mocking, as the men held Aayara back. The world around her seemed to blur as the sands stretched endlessly, with no hope of escape.
