As the marriage preparations began, the mansion buzzed with activity, but Meera's frustration simmered just beneath the surface. She watched the decorators and planners scurry around, her mind racing with indignation.

“How could he choose her?” she muttered to herself, glancing toward Aayara, who was speaking with the wedding planner. The girl appeared so unaware of the storm brewing around her.

Mahesh, on his business trip, remained oblivious to the chaos back home. He had always trusted Arjun’s judgment, but now Meera found herself wishing he were there to intervene.

"Why can't anyone see how ridiculous this is?" Meera snapped, turning to Rudra, who stood by, arms crossed, watching the preparations with a scowl.

"Maybe it's time to accept that Arjun is making his own choices," Rudra replied, trying to remain calm. But deep down, he was seething, knowing that marrying Aayara could bring complications he wasn't ready to face.

Meera shook her head, “This isn't just a marriage; it’s a disgrace to our family! We need to do something!”

Rudra sighed, glancing at Aayara again. She seemed lost in thought, oblivious to the discontent swirling around her. “What do you propose we do? It’s already set in motion.”

As the decorations went up and the guest lists were prepared, the tension in the house grew thicker. Aayara, trying to keep her head high, felt the weight of their disapproval but steeled herself, determined to find her own way through this unexpected path.

Meera slammed the door behind her, the sound echoing through the hallway. She paced back and forth, frustration boiling over as she contemplated her next move. How could Arjun marry Aayara without considering the family’s reputation?

“Is this what it’s come to?” she muttered to herself, grabbing a pillow and throwing it across the room. “A poor girl as my daughter-in-law?”

She picked up her phone and scrolled through contacts, her mind racing with ideas. There had to be a way to stop this wedding. Perhaps she could call a few influential friends to voice her concerns. A marriage of this nature could affect their standing in society.

Taking a deep breath, she dialed a number, waiting impatiently for the call to connect. “I need your help,” she said when her friend answered, her voice low and urgent. “It’s about Arjun’s wedding…”

Meanwhile, outside her room, Rudra leaned against the wall, listening to her frantic conversation. He felt torn between loyalty to his brother and the chaos unfolding within the family. He had always known Arjun to be ruthless, but this felt like a step too far.

“Maybe I should talk to him,” he thought, pushing himself off the wall and heading towards Arjun’s office.

Rudra knocked on Arjun's office door before stepping in, finding his brother deep in thought, papers scattered around him.

"Arjun," Rudra said, crossing his arms. "We need to talk about Meera."

Arjun looked up, a smirk forming on his lips. "What about her? Is she still throwing a fit over the wedding?"

Rudra clenched his jaw. "This isn't just about her being upset. She's plotting something. I overheard her talking on the phone, sounding desperate to stop this marriage."

Arjun raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "What’s her plan?"

"I don't know yet, but we can't underestimate her. She could rally support and try to ruin Aayara’s reputation," Rudra warned, concern etched on his face. "We need to keep an eye on her."

Arjun leaned back in his chair, contemplating. "Let her try. Aayara is already mine, and no amount of manipulation will change that."

"But we can't let this turn into a bigger issue than it already is," Rudra pressed. "If she makes a move, it could affect not just you but the entire family."

Arjun sighed, annoyance creeping in. "Fine. I'll keep my guard up, but I won’t let her dictate my life. Aayara is my choice, and that’s final."

Rudra nodded, knowing he’d have to stay vigilant for both his brother and Aayara. "Just be careful, Arjun. Meera’s not someone to take lightly."

As everyone gathered in the living room, a palpable tension hung in the air. Meera leaned back in her chair, a smirk playing on her lips as she watched the family dynamics unfold.

"Isn't it lovely how everything is falling into place?" she remarked, her tone laced with sarcasm. "A wedding to a girl who barely knows our world."

Daksh shot her a glance, irritation flickering in his eyes. "What's your point, Meera? Aayara has every right to be here."

"Right," she replied, rolling her eyes. "But does she really belong? What happens when she realizes this isn't just a fairy tale?"

Rudra clenched his fists, trying to keep his temper in check. "Enough, Meera. Aayara is family now."

Just then, Arjun walked in, his presence commanding attention. He sensed the tension immediately. "What’s going on?"

"Just discussing the future, Arjun," Meera said sweetly, though her eyes betrayed her true feelings. "Don’t you think Aayara should know what she's getting into?"

Arjun narrowed his eyes at her, stepping closer. "What are you implying?"

"Only that marrying into this family isn't as glamorous as it seems," Meera continued, her smirk widening. "There are expectations, responsibilities... and not everyone is welcoming."

Before Arjun could respond, Aayara entered the room, sensing the charged atmosphere. She straightened her back, trying to appear confident. "What did I miss?"

Meera's smile faltered slightly, but she quickly recovered. "Oh, just some light conversation about family dynamics. You’ll fit right in."

Aayara exchanged a wary glance with Arjun, who stood protectively beside her. "I’m ready for whatever comes my way," she said firmly, determination in her voice.

Meera scoffed softly, "We’ll see about that."
