As Payal and Rayansh walked to the cafeteria, the sun shone brightly over the campus, casting a warm glow. The chatter and laughter of students filled the air as they made their way through the bustling courtyard.

Rayansh, with a casual stride, carried a tray, and Payal followed closely, her expression thoughtful. They approached the food counter, where a variety of options were laid out.

Rayansh grabbed a few items, while Payal picked her favorites. They found a spot at a window-side table, away from the crowd. As they sat down, Rayansh glanced around, noting the occasional gaze directed their way from other students.

"Looks like the camp's been the topic of conversation all day," Rayansh said, his tone light but with an edge of curiosity.

Payal, her eyes scanning the room, nodded. "Yeah, it’s all anyone seems to talk about. I guess it’s a big deal."

Rayansh leaned forward slightly, his tone more serious. "So, how are you feeling about this whole situation with Daksh? I know it's been rough."

Payal sighed, picking at her food. "It’s frustrating. He’s acting like he doesn’t care at all. It’s like he’s trying to make everything difficult just because of some rivalry between our brothers."

Rayansh reached across the table, placing a reassuring hand on hers. "You know you deserve better than that. And despite what’s happening with Daksh, we can make the best of this camp. Maybe we can show them that we’re not just part of their drama."

Payal looked up at him, a faint smile touching her lips. "Thanks, Rayansh. I appreciate it."

As they continued their lunch, the conversation drifted to lighter topics. The cafeteria buzzed around them, with students excitedly discussing the upcoming camp trip and making plans for the weekend.

As Daksh walked into the cafeteria with his friends Abhay and Ayush, he was greeted by the usual wave of attention and whispers from the other students. He carried an air of confidence, casually chatting with his friends as they made their way to a table.

Akriti, who had been waiting near the entrance, saw her chance and quickly moved to join them. She tugged on Daksh’s arm, a playful smile on her face. “Hey, Daksh! You didn’t mention you’d be joining us for lunch today,” she said, her tone flirtatious.

Daksh looked down at her, a smirk forming on his lips. “I guess I didn’t. But since you’re here, why not?”

Abhay and Ayush exchanged knowing glances, grinning at the interaction. They were clearly enjoying the show. Akriti sat down next to Daksh, making sure to lean in close, her hand resting casually on his arm.

As they settled into their seats, Akriti continued to act as if she were his girlfriend, engaging him in conversation and laughing at his jokes. She wanted everyone to see their closeness and make it clear that she was the one he was interested in.

The other students in the cafeteria watched with interest, some of them whispering and glancing over at the group. The scene was filled with the usual high school drama, with alliances and rivalries playing out in the open.

Meanwhile, Payal and Rayansh, sitting at their window-side table, noticed the interaction. Payal’s expression darkened slightly as she saw Akriti’s display. Rayansh, noticing her reaction, gave her a reassuring look. “Don’t let it get to you. Just focus on the positives of the camp.”

The cafeteria buzzed with activity as students enjoyed their lunch and caught up with each other, the tension of personal dramas weaving in and out of the otherwise lively atmosphere.

Confrontation Between Daksh, Payal, and Rayansh

As Daksh made his way towards Payal and Rayansh’s table, his expression was a mixture of irritation and arrogance. His footsteps were firm, and his friends, Abhay and Ayush, followed closely behind, anticipating the scene that was about to unfold.

When Daksh reached the table, he leaned in slightly, glaring at Payal. His voice was sharp as he spoke.

Daksh: "Nerd… looks like you’re having a good time with this asshole."

He sneered, his gaze shifting to Rayansh, who was seated comfortably beside Payal. There was an obvious disdain in Daksh’s tone, his words laced with both jealousy and superiority. He couldn't stand seeing Payal with someone connected to his brother's rival, especially someone like Rayansh.

Startled at first, Payal straightened herself, trying to maintain her composure. Her eyes flickered between Daksh and Rayansh, unsure how to respond to the sudden outburst.

She finally spoke, her voice trembling slightly. "What’s your problem, Daksh? Can’t you just leave us alone?"

Rayansh placed his hand on Payal’s shoulder in a protective gesture, clearly unbothered by Daksh’s taunts. "Got something to say to me, Daksh? Or do you just like talking down to people?"

His tone was firm, showing he wasn’t intimidated by Daksh’s presence or his insults.

The smirk on Daksh’s face faded slightly as Rayansh responded. His jaw clenched, and his fists tightened at his sides. The tension between the two was palpable, and it was clear that Daksh didn’t appreciate Rayansh standing up to him.

"Stay out of this, Rayansh," Daksh growled, his voice low and threatening. "This has nothing to do with you."

The cafeteria seemed to quiet down as students nearby watched the confrontation unfold, curious about how things would escalate between the three.

The cafeteria fell into a stunned silence as Daksh’s anger reached its peak. His face flushed red, and his eyes were locked on Rayansh’s hand resting on Payal’s shoulder. Unable to control his rage, Daksh grabbed a glass from a nearby table and hurled it against the wall with all his might.

The glass shattered loudly upon impact, sending shards scattering across the floor. The sudden noise startled students, causing them to jump and look towards the commotion. The once-bustling cafeteria fell silent, all eyes now on Daksh and his outburst .

She gasped, her eyes wide with shock as the glass exploded. Her heart raced, both from fear and the intensity of the situation. She looked at Daksh with a mix of concern and anger, feeling the tension in the air.

Unfazed by Daksh’s actions, Rayansh’s expression hardened. He stood up, placing himself protectively in front of Payal. "Is this how you resolve conflicts, Daksh? Throwing things like a child, control your rage Daksh Oberoi singhania ?"

The surrounding students whispered amongst themselves, their curiosity piqued by the sudden outburst. Some took out their phones to record, while others watched nervously, unsure how the situation would unfold.

His anger was palpable, his hands trembling slightly from the force of his throw. He stared at Rayansh and Payal, his face a mask of fury and frustration. "You think you can just walk around flaunting your little romance in front of me? You don’t know who you’re messing with!"

His voice was loud and harsh, echoing through the now-silent cafeteria. He took a deep breath, trying to control his temper but clearly seething.

A  staff member approached, trying to defuse the situation. "Daksh, Rayansh, Payal—what’s going on here? This behavior is unacceptable. Let’s all calm down and discuss this in a more appropriate manner."

Daksh, still fuming, glared at the staff member but reluctantly stepped back, his anger momentarily simmered. The cafeteria remained tense, with everyone waiting to see how the confrontation would resolve.
