***AUTHOR'S POV***

After finishing his ride, Arjun dismounted and handed the reins to a servant. His expression was unreadable as he walked back towards the mansion. He was still simmering with the events of the previous night, but he needed to compose himself.

Entering his room, he unbuttoned his shirt, tossing it aside as he walked into the bathroom. The cool water from the shower helped calm his mind, but thoughts of Aayara kept creeping back in. The way she defied him, the look in her eyes—it stirred something within him that he couldn't shake.

As he stood under the water, he clenched his fists, determined to regain control. No one, not even her, would ever undermine his authority.

Arjun, now dressed in a crisp white shirt and dark trousers, descended the stairs with a commanding presence. The house was quiet, save for the soft clinking of utensils and the murmur of servants preparing breakfast. He walked with purpose, his mind still occupied with the previous night’s events and the strained situation with Aayara.

In the dining room, his father Mahesh and his brothers Rudra and Daksh were already seated. The air was tense, the previous night's announcement about Meera and Mehak still hanging over them. Arjun greeted them with a curt nod before taking his seat at the head of the table.

The breakfast was served, but Arjun’s appetite was subdued. He sipped his coffee, his gaze occasionally drifting towards the entrance as if expecting something or someone. The meal was a routine affair, but his mind was preoccupied with plans and strategies for the day ahead, and the lingering issue of how to handle the situation with Aayara.

Mahesh cleared his throat, his demeanor serious. “Arjun, can we have a word in private? It’s important.”

Arjun raised an eyebrow but nodded. “Of course, Father.”

He pushed his chair back and followed Mahesh to his study, a room adorned with leather furniture and shelves lined with books. The door closed behind them, and Mahesh gestured for Arjun to take a seat.

“What’s this about?” Arjun asked, his tone neutral but his mind alert, sensing that the discussion was likely about something significant.

Mahesh leaned forward, his expression a mix of concern and determination. “Arjun, there’s something we need to discuss about Aayara. I understand your feelings, but keeping her like this, against her will, is not just morally wrong but also legally questionable.”

Arjun’s brow furrowed. “What are you suggesting?”

Mahesh continued, “If her father files a complaint, it could put us in a very difficult position. To protect ourselves and ensure she remains with us legally, you need to formalize her status. I’m suggesting that you secure her position through legal means, so she becomes officially bound to you.”

Arjun’s eyes narrowed as he absorbed this. “You mean, I should have her officially recognized as mine through legal documentation?”

Mahesh nodded. “Exactly. It will provide a legal framework and protect us from potential legal issues. It’s essential to act now before things escalate further.”

Arjun nodded slowly, his mind working through the implications. “A contract,” he confirmed. “I’ll have a legal document drawn up to formalize her status.”

Mahesh looked relieved. “That’s a wise decision. It will ensure that everything is above board and protect us from any potential repercussions.”

Arjun’s expression remained serious. “I’ll make sure it’s done properly. I want to be sure that this situation is controlled and that she remains where I want her to be.”

Arjun walked out of the room, the idea of a legal contract settling in his mind. It seemed like a solid plan to ensure Aayara's position and his control over her. He understood that formalizing her status legally would not only solidify his authority but also protect him from any legal challenges. With a determined look, he set about arranging the necessary paperwork to make her his by contract.

Rudra’s anger simmered as he listened to the conversation. He couldn't understand why his father, Mahesh, would support Arjun’s plans rather than intervening to help Aayara. Rudra felt a deep frustration, believing that his father should have been the one to stand up against Arjun’s cruel treatment and protect Aayara.

Determined to address the issue, Rudra considered confronting his father to voice his concerns and plead for Aayara's well-being.

Rudra knocked firmly on the door to his father's study, his face set with determination.

When Mahesh opened the door, Rudra's expression was a mix of frustration and resolve. "We need to talk," Rudra said, stepping inside without waiting for an invitation. "It's about Aayara and Arjun."

Mahesh nodded, signaling Rudra to continue. "What is it, Rudra?" he asked, his tone more concerned than irritated.

Rudra, with a strained expression, began to speak. "Dad, why are you helping Arjun with this? Aayara is being treated terribly. She doesn't deserve this. Can't you see how wrong it is to force her into this situation?"

Mahesh sighed deeply, looking troubled. "Rudra, I understand your concerns. But Arjun's position and his demands are complicated. If Aayara's father files a complaint, it could cause serious trouble for all of us. We need to find a way to handle this carefully."

Rudra’s frustration grew. "There has to be another way. We can’t just sit back and let Arjun do whatever he wants. Aayara is a human being, not a pawn in some power game."

Mahesh’s face softened. "I know, Rudra. But right now, we need to ensure our family's stability. I’ll talk to Arjun and see if we can reach a compromise, but I need you to trust me on this."

Rudra’s anger didn’t fully subside, but he nodded reluctantly. "Fine. But please, do something to help her. This isn’t right."

Mahesh nodded, his expression resolute. "I will, Rudra. I promise."
