"You're here again." I stated. I'm here inside the student council office having one on one conversation with Stacey who happened to be the cheerleading team captain.
She's sitting across me with her legs crossed and her arms are resting on the arm rest. She rolled her eyes at me and I can't do anything but to sigh.
Lagi na lang siya nasasangkot sa gulo. She's not a bully or anything pero because of her sassy attitude, halos lahat kinakalaban niya pati mga teachers.
"I did nothing wrong." She firmly stated.
"Sinagot mo si Ms. Castro. You disrespected her." I told her. She scoffed and cross her arms.
"Lagi kasing pinapansin yung suot namin. Keso maikli, or sasabihin niya inappropriate. Kaya siya matandang dalaga kasi wala siyang class."
"Is that enough reason to disrespect her?" She fixed her posture because of how serious my tone is.
"My clothes aren't inappropriate. I still follow the school guidelines when it comes to dress code kapag wash day natin. She doesn't like that I'm a fashion icon. Gusto niya ata mag-Filipiniana ako eh para conservative."
Hindi na ako nagsalita. Inayos ko yung mga folder sa table ko. I'm the student council president and I'm a busy person. I handle students para malessen yung work ng councillor namin who's mainly focusing on students mental health.
Kahit hindi ako nakatingin directly kay Stacey, I saw her standing up and walked towards me. Hinawakan niya yung mga folder na hawak ko and set it aside.
"Love, sorry na." Malambing niyang sabi. Tumingin ako sa kanya and she's giving me a cute puppy eyes.
Hilig talaga magpacute.
Stacey is my girlfriend but not everyone knows it. Family and friends lang namin. We've been together for almost a year now. Nagkakilala kami during one of our school pageant.
I'm one of the contestants and so is she. I believe she's fourteen years old that time and I'm fifteen.
I won that competition and at the same time, I won as the president of student council. Our relationship grew dahil madaming nagrereport sa kanya sakin about how she behaved and I told her na I'll keep an eye on her.
Lagi kaming nag-uusap hanggang sa nahulog ako sa kanya and I'm lucky enough kasi she reciprocated my feelings.
"You know naman hindi ako gagawa ng eksena if I know mali yung ginagawa ko." Paliwanag niya pa.
"I know and I love you for that. You stand for your own principle but please next time, know your limit. We don't want you to have bad record during your school year." I saw her pout then nods her head in submission.
"Ok po." She softly stated.
"Give me a kiss and kumain ka na." Sabi ko with a smile. Bigla naman siyang ngumiti ng malapad then peck me on my lips.
"Sabay na tayo lunch." She suggested habang magkalapit parin yung mukha namin. She always invites me pero I always refuses. I don't want everyone to think that I'm favoring her.
"We can't. You know naman na people will talk." I stated.
"Fine. But you owe me a date." She said then kissed me one more time.
"See you after school?" Tanong ko. She nods her head and straightened her pose. Naglakad na siya palayo sakin.
"Love you." She turn around just to say that. I smile widely because of her.
"I love you more. Go na, baka hindi ka pa makapaglunch." She waved me goodbye and lumabas ng office.
I let some minutes passed bago ako lumabas. Sakto naman nagtext sakin si Mikha na naghihintay na sila sa cafeteria.
