I rushed over to the club after kong maka-receive ng text from Colet. I was welcomed by the sound of upbeat music, dancing drunk people, and the smell of alcohol.
I roamed my eyes to find Colet. I sighed seeing her sitting on one of the bar stools, her head resting on her hand while using her elbow as support.
"Do you have to be this drunk?" I asked when I came closer. She looks at me with red, watery eyes, her face is flushed.
She's definitely drunk.
"Jho! You came!" Malakas niyang sabi sabay yakap sa'kin. Ibinaling niya ang lahat ng bigat niya sa akin kaya muntik kaming matumba. Buti na lang at naiayos ang postura ko at hindi kami bumagsak.
"Fix yourself." I groaned. I grabbed her purse then put her arm on my shoulder as I guided her towards the exit.
Colet's face is buried on my neck while we're walking. I tried to fix her but she just kept on doing what she's doing so I decided not to dwell anymore.
"Do you need help?" I heard a voice that came from nowhere. A tall, feminine looking girl stood beside Colet.
I can't properly see her full appearance because of the lighting, but her stance, her voice, and her smile are enough for me to tell she's a beautiful lady.
"Sorry?"
"Mukha kasing nahihirapan ka alalayan 'yung friend mo. I want to help." She said.
"Are you sure? Hindi mo naman kami kilala."
Her smile widened, "doesn't matter. Shall we?"
Kinuha ang isang kamay ni Colet at ipinatong ito sa kaniyang balikat. Sabay kaming naglakad hanggang sa makarating kami sa kotse ko.
Ipinuwesto ko si Colet sa passenger seat. Before kami umalis, I turned to face the girl who helped me.
"Thank you sa pagtulong. If we meet again, I'll treat you."
The light at the parking lot is much brighter so I have a clear view of her look. Hindi nga ako nagkamali na maganda siya.
Her cheeks crease into a whisker, her eyes disappear whenever she smiles.
"Sabi mo 'yan. I'll look forward to our next meeting." She cheerfully stated.
She bided her goodbye and then I entered my car and drove off. I almost cursed at myself for not asking her name.

"Can I get your order?" I asked.
Medyo mahaba na ang pila ng mga customers na bumibili ng kape sa shop namin. I'm actually the owner of it kahit na nag-aaral pa ako sa university.
I started to help my employees for faster service.
"One matcha latte and your name, please." Napaangat ako ng ulo at tumingin sa nagsalita.
My heart skipped a beat seeing the same girl who helped me at the club two weeks ago. I really thought na hindi na kami magkikita pa.
"It's you." I blurted out absentmindedly.
I heard her giggle, "yes, it's me. I didn't know na dito ka pala nagtatrabaho. If only I knew, matagal na ako bumisita dito. Malapit lang 'to sa Uni."
"I didn't think na magkikita pa tayo."
"Well, I think it's destiny or fate or whatever. Believe na we're meant to see each other again."
Before I could say anything, she started talking again, "maybe we'll catch up after I paid for my order. I can feel na masama na titig sa'kin ni ate sa likod."
