"Ah." Shenhe said, the realization. "Oh, I-I'm sorry, I..." Shenhe blinked once, twice, stammering out an apology as she walked back to Wu.
"No worries, it's my fault I'm not up to the challenge..." Wu joked.
"N-No, it's not that... It's..." Shenhe said shyly. "I... I was excited..." Shenhe said. "I want more than just a fight with you..." Shenhe said, offering Wu a hand. He took it, grunting as she pulled him up.
"What, you'll take me out to dinner first...?" Wu asked with a smirk, leaning towards her.
He froze as Shenhe took both his hands tenderly, especially in how she handled his right hand.
"Yes..." Shenhe said.
"..." Wu stared at her, his tail jolting at the feeling shifting in her gaze as they made eye contact.
"And other things, too..." Shenhe said.
"!!!" Wu's tail jerked in equal parts extcitement and confusion.
"I... I want to be someone who can live their life as honestly and fully as you do... To do that, I need to become someone in-tune with myself..." Shenhe said. "As such, I'd like to become more in-tune with my humanity..." Shenhe said. "I'd like to take some time to try living like a human... Having human experiences..." Shenhe said. "I'd like you to be at my side as I navigate that..." Shenhe said tenderly, her grasp on his hands tightening imperceptivity.
"...Sure." Wu said, his tail swaying side to side contentedly.

"Are you sure it's wise to spring this on Cloud Retainer right off the bat? Especially after I lost her a massive parlay?" Wu asked as he and Shenhe stepped into Cloud Retainer's domain realm.

Cloud Retainer asked, appearing before them.
"What foolishness has this brigand spoken of this time?" Cloud Retainer asked.
"Master, I have something I'd like to ask of you..." Shenhe said, turning her gaze downwards.
"Hm?" Cloud Retainer asked.
Shenhe manfested her spear, holding it out with both her hands, as she knealt before Cloud Retainer.
"I would like to cease my training, and leave Mount Aocang." Shenhe said.

Cloud Retainer said, her voice cold an low.

Wu raised his guard, sent flying back as Cloud Retainer sent a massive gust of wind his way.
