˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ Kat looked out the small square window in the door and saw the Russian from earlier stumbling towards other Russians. Specifically very tall and strong Russians with giant guns.

Steve followed Kat's line of sight and cracked the door open to get a better look. As you could probably imagine, they saw him, and started moving towards them.

He swore as he slammed the door shut and ushered everyone through different doors, the Russians still right on their heels.

Somehow they ended up in a control room, just a stones throw away from the giant laser and the gate.

Kat's legs were moving faster than her head because they were trapped between the laser and the Russians before she actually realized where they were.

Steve bound down a flight of stairs, everyone following right behind him. Through another hallway, two soldiers were running at them, but Kat pushed stacked barrels down, knocking the men over.

Finally they separated themselves from the Russians with a door, but Steve's strength was no match for the five men pushing up against it. "Robin!" he grunted, his feet sliding on the ground as he tried to keep the door shut. "Kat! Help!"

Kat pressed her back against the door, slipping her backpack off of one shoulder to make it easier.

"Guys, come on, now!" Dustin yelled, holding up the grate of a vent in the floor.

"No! Just go get help, okay?" Steve shouted back, readjusting his grip on the door handle.

Dustin started to climb in, but he hesitated, staring at Kat, who was pressing her lips together as she tried to push the door shut.
