˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ Everyone is back gathered around the kitchen table while Hopper is trying to figure out the best way to make it into the lab so Eleven can close the gate.
Hopper sighed, there was definitely no easy way to do this. "It's not like it was before. It's grown. A lot. And, I mean, that's considering we can get in there. The place is crawling with those dogs."
"Demodogs," Dustin slipped in.
Hopper's face kept straight. "Im sorry, what?"
"I said, uh, Demodogs," Dustin tried to explain, now flustered. "Like Demogorgan and dogs. You put 'em together, it sounds pretty badass—"
"How is this important right now?" Hopper said, raising his voice.
"It's not. I'm sorry."
"I can do it," Eleven insisted.
Hopper shook his head. "You're not hearing me."
Eleven persists. "I'm hearing you. I can do it."
"Even if El can, there's still another problem," Mike started, taking a small pause before adding, "If the brain dies the body dies."
Max looked confused. "I thought that was the whole point?"
"It is, but if we're really right about this," Mike continued, "I mean, if El closes the gate and kills the mind flayers army."
"Will's a part of that army," Lucas finished as Kat fully realized the severity of the situation.
