˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ It felt like time was moving in slow motion. Kat picked her head up, it still feeling like a thousand pounds.

Her eyes felt like they were too big for her head, like when you look away from the TV after watching for hours.

To be truthful, Kat's mind was a little foggy, to say the least. She knew her name and what year it was, but she could not remember the last five minutes for the life of her. The only thing still lingering was a small tingling sensation in her neck.

"Honestly, I don't really feel anything," Steve mumbled, almost slurring his words together. "Do you?"

Kat opened her mouth to talk, but found it hard to get the words from her head out of her mouth. "I...I mean, I—I feel fine," she stuttered out. "Normal. Perfectly normal."

Robin nodded. "Yeah, I feel fine, too. I...I kinda feel good."

Kat giggled, and she found it hard to stop. "Wanna know something? I like it too!"

The three broke out into unceasing laughter, lasting long enough for even Robin to realize something was wrong. "I think they messed up the drug, those morons."

In Kat's current state, she thought that was the funniest thing ever. "They messed it up!" she repeated, barely being able to speak over her laughter. "Morons!"

Robin and Steve kept shouting out 'moron', until Kat stopped them, still giggling. "Oh, no. There is definitely something wrong with us."

"Something's wrong," Steve laughed in agreement.

The same buzzer sounded and the door opened, the same three Russians walking back in. Kat wasn't scared that time, though, and instead found his serious face to be quite amusing.
