˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ The four stand at the rusted playground, hovering around the light that is Erica Sinclair.

It felt like an eternity of waiting before Erica spoke to them. "Okay, the lovebirds have copied. Max is moving into phase two: distracting Vecna," said Erica's disembodied voice.

Now it's Dustin and Eddie's turn. They'll draw the bats away from the Creel house, give them an opening to get inside.

It was about two minutes before the bats started to fly over the playground, the whole colony screeching their way towards Eddie's trailer.

The four stayed low to the ground, crossing the street and walking up the path to the front door of Vecna's house.

Steve pushed the door open, and the first thing they all noticed was the hundreds of vines covering the floor. It was basically yelling at them to leave. They're not supposed to be here.

"That's not good," Steve muttered to himself. He looked back at the girls, giving them a shrug before he jumped in between the vines, making a deathly game of hopscotch. Steve grabbed onto the railing as he safely made it to the stairs, gesturing for someone else to follow after.

Kat took in a big breath of air before jumping in the open spaces of the floor, following Steve's path. Holding onto the wall by the stairs, Kat watched as Robin stared at the ground, unmoving.

Nancy grabbed Robin's hand, whispering a reassurance before Robin followed after Kat and Steve. Wobbling on her feet a little, she let out a huge sigh of relief once she landed next to Kat.

Nancy came next, gracefully weaving through the vines, finishing the game of hopscotch.

The four started up the stairs, using the wall to keep their balance as they climbed up the vine ridden stairs.
