Kanvi sat by the window bay playing in her mobile dressed just in a sheer satin gown. Vihaan's lips parted in surprise and a tinge of irritation laced his senses seeing her sitting still as if unbothered.
" Didn't I ask you to get ready Ma Cherie?" He whispered close to her ear and Kanvi lazily looked at her front. Her eyes refused to move away from Vihaan's body and she let herself be the rebel she was for a few days.
" Do you like it?" Vihaan asked with a small smile that held no mockery.
" I do but I've seen better Mr. Redeemer." She said unbothered and plunged forward to get down. Vihaan circled his hand around her and stopped her from touching her feet on the floor.

" Well looks like I haven't given you enough time to see how great of a body mine is Ma Cherie," Vihaan said with a little joy and held her small hand running his over his bare body. Kanvi closed her eyes and her breath halted as her cold fingers touched his warm body.
"Stop all this Vihaan." Her words came out in desperate breaths and Vihaan loved the effect he had on her. He gently left her hand yet her hand was put on him.
He could understand her dilemma. She loves him but she is sacrificing for his non-existent love. He was just waiting for the right time to reveal it. But only if he knows what kind of a mistake he is committing.
" What's stopping you from getting ready Kanvi?" He asked nuzzling his nose against her cheek. She moved his face away and got up unwrapping his hand around her.
" The door's locked and it's supposed to be unlocked if I had to get dressed. Well, doesn't the mechanism work that way Vihaan or do you have some of your Quantum theories to apply here to prove me wrong?" She mocked and he chuckled.
" Looks like you are right this time. And.... Here is the key my lady." He chortled and placed it in her hand closing it ever so softly.
Kanvi rolled her eyes and left the room while Vihaan looked at the path she just left with a small smile. Her cold behaviour is bothering him but it's necessary to know one's worth.
He did his skincare routine and got into a black t-shirt, a blazer and chinos. He spayed his perfume and chose the simple yet elegant watch to compliment his look.
