Vihaan's POV:
I couldn't help but feel a spring in my step as I walked into Kanvi's office building. She was so close to accepting my apology, I could feel it. The thought sent a surge of happiness through me, and I couldn't wait to see her again.
As I entered the office, the receptionist looked up and smiled. "Can I help you, sir?"
" I'm here you meet Mr. Thomas, can you guide me?" I asked her with a smile and nodded at me politely walking me to his cabin.
I stepped into Mr. Reggie Thomas's cabin, my nerves vanishing the moment he looked up with a welcoming smile. The man had an air of authority, but I'd always admired how approachable he seemed despite his position.
"Mr. Aurora!" he greeted warmly, gesturing for me to take a seat.
"Mr. Thomas," I replied with a grin, settling into the chair across from him. "I've been meaning to tell you something important."
He raised a brow, curiosity flickering in his eyes.
"See," I began, leaning forward playfully, "I've decided to kidnap Kanvi."
He blinked, then burst into laughter, shaking his head in amusement.
"Kidnap her, huh?" he said, chuckling.
"Absolutely," I said, my tone light. "I'm recruiting her into my company. I mean, I need my wife in front of my eyes all the time. You can't expect me to survive otherwise."
Mr. Thomas laughed even harder at that, nodding as he leaned back in his chair. "Fair enough. What do you want me to do about it, then?"
I shrugged, offering him a sheepish smile. "Nothing too dramatic. Just... Kanvi's coming to the office today, and I'd like you to hand her termination letter, politely, of course."
He studied me for a moment before nodding, clearly amused. "Alright, Mr. Aurora, consider it done."
"Thanks," I said, standing up and straightening my jacket. "You're the best."
He laughed again as I turned to leave, waving me off.
Back at the college, I walked into my class just in time for the test papers to be distributed. The room buzzed with anticipation as the students waited, some nervously tapping their pens on the desks while others whispered amongst themselves.
I grabbed the stack of corrected test sheets and began calling out names one by one. The look of relief on their faces as they received their papers was priceless. A few of them beamed with pride as they realized they'd excelled, their marks a testament to the hard work they'd put in.
"Great job," I said to one student who had scored the highest, watching her face light up at the compliment.
As I continued handing out the sheets, I noticed that some students had done above average—not stellar, but solid work nonetheless. They seemed satisfied, nodding quietly as they checked their scores.
The best part? No one had failed. Not a single student.
I paused for a moment, feeling a sense of pride wash over me. It wasn't just about the grades; it was about the effort they'd put in and the progress they'd made.
"Listen up," I said, raising my voice so the entire class could hear. "I'm proud of all of you. There's always room to improve, but today, I want you to take a moment to appreciate how far you've come. You've earned it."
The room filled with a quiet but palpable energy, the kind that comes from a collective sense of accomplishment.
I cleared my throat loudly, the sound echoing in the classroom and cutting through the lively chatter. Slowly, one by one, the students turned their attention to me. The room fell silent, all eyes now on me, their faces a mix of curiosity and anticipation.
