" I slept with him...." Came her innocent voice.
" No, she is lying." Screamed Vihaan.
" Stop lying, tell them we were just in one room and nothing else happened. My character is dependent on your truth Miss. Please don't lie." Vihaan warned calmly...
Vihaan's hands rested loosely on the steering wheel, but his eyes were far from the road. They were locked onto Kanvi, tracing every curve of her smile, every flicker of excitement in her sparkling eyes. Her laughter filled the car, soft and melodic, but Vihaan wasn't listening to her words. He was lost in her, utterly captivated.
His gaze was as steady as the moon's pull on the tide, unwavering and magnetic. It wasn't just admiration, it was a quiet storm of emotions, a blend of desire, awe, and reverence. Her hair flowed over her shoulders, catching the dim light of the dashboard like silk threads spun from moonlight. The cardigan she wore framed her so delicately that it was almost maddening.

Her lips, still glossed from the quick kiss she'd planted on his, shimmered faintly, pulling his thoughts back to the fleeting moment they'd shared. He swallowed hard, his throat dry, as if he were parched in a desert but unwilling to quench his thirst just yet. Her scent, sweet tulip and creamy coconut lingered in the air, intoxicating him more with every breath.
Kanvi, oblivious to the intensity of his stare, continued chatting animatedly, her hands gesturing, her excitement palpable. But Vihaan didn't see her words, he only saw the way her lips curved, the way her eyes lit up with every sentence. His gaze was fire and gravity combined, pulling her in even though she hadn't noticed.
To him, she was the sun and he was the earth, helplessly orbiting her light, basking in her warmth, unable to look away. Each moment stretched, his focus sharpening as if the entire world had blurred into the background, leaving only her. The thought of her kiss lingered, soft and teasing, and he found himself aching for more not just the touch, but the closeness, the essence of her.
And as she kept talking, completely unaware of his smouldering gaze, he marvelled at how effortlessly she held his heart, how she turned his world on its axis without even trying. She was his everything, and at that moment, she was all he could see.
The car rumbled softly as Vihaan guided it off the familiar streets and onto a narrower, darker path. The city lights dimmed behind them, and Kanvi's chatter began to falter as the surroundings grew quieter, more secluded. She looked at Vihaan with narrowed eyes, breaking the silence.
