Vihaan's POV:
It's been a week since Kanvi started acting strange. She's been keeping to herself and not talking to anyone, not even our closest friends. Vidharth has been trying to visit her every day, but she won't even see him. It's like she's built a wall around herself and doesn't want anyone to get close.
I'm getting really worried about her. Kanvi is usually a bubbly and outgoing person, always laughing and chatting with us. But now, she seems completely different. She's shut herself off from everyone, and it's like she's lost her spark.
Vidharth is also very concerned. He's been trying to reach out to her, but she won't even talk to him. I can see the worry and frustration in his eyes. He cares about Kanvi deeply.
I wish Kanvi would open up and talk to us. They're her friends, and we're here to listen and help. Whatever is bothering her, we want to be there for her. But until she's ready to talk, we can only wait and hope that everything will be okay.
My mind keeps racing back to what happened to Kanvi. The trauma she went through is still unimaginable to me. Those unknown men, who dared to lay their hands on her, bullied and beat her mercilessly. The thought of it makes my blood boil with rage. How could they be so cruel? How could they inflict such pain and fear on someone as innocent as my wife?
I was consumed by anger and a desire for revenge. I couldn't believe those bastards had the audacity to hurt Kanvi like that. Ean took care of them, and I made sure they paid heavily for their actions. But even now, thinking about it makes me want to inflict more punishment on them.
Those men were cowards, preying on a defenseless woman. They thought they could get away with it, but they didn't count on us being there for Kanvi. We made sure they faced the consequences of their actions, and I hope they're still feeling the pain and fear they inflicted on Kanvi.
But even with them punished, I know Kanvi's scars run deep. The fear and trauma she experienced will take time to heal. That's why I'm so worried about her. She's been shutting herself off from everyone, and it's like she's lost her spark. I want to help her, to be there for her, but I don't know how to reach her.
I just wish those men had never laid eyes on my w. I wish they had never hurt her. But they did, and now we have to deal with the aftermath. I'll do everything in my power to support Kanvi, to help her heal and find her smile again. And as for those men... I hope they never forget the pain they caused, and the price they paid for it.
As I stood there, lost in thought, the calling bell pierced the silence, jolting me back to reality. I sighed, knowing exactly who was on the other side of the door. Winter, Katherine, Ean, and Kanvi's brother, the familiar faces that had become a constant presence in our lives.
I made my way to the door, my feet heavy with a sense of dread. I knew what they wanted, to talk to Kanvi, to try and reach out to her again. But I also knew she wasn't ready. Not yet.
As I opened the door, Vidharth's eyes met mine, searching for an answer. His gaze was like a silent question, asking if his sister was finally willing to talk. I shook my head, a subtle nod that conveyed Kanvi's reluctance. Vidharth's expression remained hopeful, his eyes still fixed on mine, as if willing me to change my mind.
I stepped aside, allowing them to enter, my gesture a silent invitation to wait. As they filed into our home, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. I knew the conversation that was about to unfold would be difficult, maybe even painful. But I also knew it was necessary.
I watched as they settled into our living room, their faces etched with concern and empathy. I knew they cared deeply for Kanvi, and for me, but I also knew that their presence would stir up emotions that Kanvi wasn't ready to face. Not yet.
