Author's POV:

Vihaan stood by the stove, rolling out palak paranthas with expert precision, the aroma of spiced dough sizzling in ghee filling the kitchen. He was in his element, focused, until Katherine decided to perch on a stool nearby, arms folded, eyes sharp with mischief.

"You're rolling them too thick, Vihaan," she noted, her voice laced with amusement. "It'll turn into a naan at this rate."

Vihaan exhaled dramatically, not looking up. "Katherine, I have fed you paranthas for years, and you have never complained. Why do you choose now to be a food critic?"

"Because now I know you can do better."

Kanvi, lounging on the couch, popped a piece of popcorn into her mouth, grinning. Her seven-month belly was prominent, but her amusement at their banter was even more so.

"I told you, Kat, Vihaan's paranthas are the best."

"They are," Katherine admitted, "but they could be thinner."

Vihaan shot her a glare. "Then maybe I should roll you out thinner, see how you like it."

Vidharth, who had been silently watching Katherine with an unreadable expression, finally moved. Before anyone could react, he grabbed Katherine by the waist and lifted her clean off the stool.

She shrieked, flailing. "Vidharth! What the hell—"

He smirked, his voice a quiet rumble. "You talk too much."

Kanvi nearly choked on her popcorn, her laughter spilling into the kitchen. Vihaan, meanwhile, smirked, tossing his spatula aside and dusting his hands as he turned toward Kanvi. She had that look in her eyes, dark, teasing, dangerous.

She curled a single finger at him, beckoning.

And damn if he didn't feel his knees weaken.

Vihaan swallowed hard. Kanvi looked positively sinful, stretched out lazily, her body glowing in pregnancy, her curves even more pronounced. The way her fingers curled in invitation sent something wicked through him.

He walked toward her, slow, deliberate, until he was standing before her. Her lips parted, her eyes heavy-lidded.

"You're so hot," he murmured, his hands settling on either side of her belly. "I don't think you realize what you do to me."

Kanvi smirked. "Oh, I do. And I love that you can't do a damn thing about it."

Vihaan groaned, his forehead dropping to her breasts as he exhaled sharply. "Evil. You're absolutely evil."

Meanwhile, Vidharth, ever the opportunist, took advantage of Katherine's stunned state, tilting her head up and capturing her lips in a long, deep kiss that left her breathless. When he pulled away, she stared at him, speechless for the first time in her life.

Kanvi hummed, enjoying the entire scene. "Vihaan," she whispered, her fingers threading through his hair. "Do you know what I'd do to you if I weren't carrying our child?"

Vihaan groaned again, his grip tightening on the couch. "I hate you."

Kanvi laughed. "No, you don't."

Katherine, still caught up in the aftermath of Vidharth's kiss, finally found her voice. "I feel like I should be offended, but..." She cleared her throat. "Damn."

Vidharth simply smirked.

Vihaan, lifting his head, narrowed his eyes at Kanvi. "I need to go take a very cold shower."

Kanvi grinned. "And after that, make sure my paranthas don't turn into naans, Vihaan."

Vihaan is perched on the armrest of the sofa, a mischievous smirk curling his lips as he holds up a spoonful of dessert in front of Kanvi.
