I couldn't face him. Deep down inside of me I hoped T wouldn't do anything to harm Namjoon but I couldn't take that risk. What I couldn't do either, was sit back and knowingly not say anything either. This was a police matter and even though I had always thought of not doing anything to make things worse for T and her job, what she was doing was so wrong. Someone had to know. As soon as I reached back to my country, I bought a burn phone. I didn't save any of the members' numbers on my smart phone but I recognised their faces from their profile pictures. Everyone had a profile pic of themselves except Yoongi. His was an old brown piano. Aww... His first love. So cute.
.
I typed something and sent it to him. What did I type? An exclamation point (!). Lol. It could mean anything: a shout, danger or an interjection and in my case I needed him to 'inject' into this situation. Maybe I should've used a syringe emoji instead. I giggled and went home by my mother to pick up Anni. When my daughter saw me she was surprised,
.
"Eomma? What are you doing here? Why aren't you in South Korea? I tried calling you because I heard that RM is sick and you have some urgent family matter. What's going on?"
.
She was very concerned and I could just imagine how worried she was when she heard the news. I took her on a bench outside on the patio and I explained just enough for her to understand, "I needed to be away for a bit. Something's happened and I thought it best to come back home." When she tried to cut in, I told her, "Its best that you don't know the full details."
.
She sighed, "Grown-up stuff?"
.
I nodded and then I kissed and hugged her, "Oh baby. I'm fine and Namjoon will be fine too."
.
Then she muffled, "Did you break-up with him?"
.
I looked at her dumbfounded, "No... Why would you say that?"
.
"That's what Amaria thinks. You wouldn't dump Kim Namjoon, would you mom?"
.
I looked at her and then hugged her again as my tears flowed over her head, "No sweetie. I wouldn't..."
.
When she went to get her bags I sat outside and continued crying. Technically Anni was right. I did leave him and without any true reason as to why. So technically I did break-up with him. That just made me sob even more. Then I felt the hands of someone rubbing my shoulders. My mom.
.
"Oh mom..." I cried and she embraced me. I missed her too and her words of comfort as she soothe me.
.
"Dear-dear... Love hurts sometimes but it always rises above the pains to bloom again." I looked at her confused and she smiled, "I've been keeping up with the news: You leaving the tour and Namjoon being sick... Come on baby, I wasn't born yesterday. If you guys had a fight, then take some time off and reflect for a bit."
.
But I shook my head, "It's not like that mom," and I told her everything. EVERYTHING....
.
Her eyes opened wide, "Oh my-my-my..." I love my mom. She wasn't into K-pop before but from the time I brought Kim Namjoon to meet her, she had been listening to their music and watching their funny videos. Thanks to her granddaughter as well. Mom got all serious with me, "You need to tell someone, Dia. That woman could damage him or even kill him and if you knew about it from before you could be held responsible too as you're withholding a life/death information. Is there anyone you could trust?"
