(Three Years and Nine Months after Namjoon)

"CJ come and get your things for school right now."
.
"Okay, Eomma..."
.
"Anita, did you see where I put the file for today's menu?"
.
"Yeah mom, it was on the kitchen table last night."
.
"Okay thanks sweetie. Enjoy your day at school."
.
"Thanks mom."
.
"CJ..."
.
"Yes! I'm here. Super CJ to the rescue."
.
He looked so adorable, just like his father and I tried to hide my true feelings from my son. He was super smart, intelligent and such a prankster and klutz at times. Again... just like his father. He looked at me and saw my sad expression.
.
"Eomma, are you okay?"
.
I smiled and nodded, "So who are you today? An explorer into outer space, a submarine diver or... maybe a superhero?"
.
He grinned at me with his missing teeth and shouted, "I'm Superman!" And he began to fly around the kitchen and eventually taking up my menu and bringing it for me. "Is this what you were looking for, mama?"
.
I nodded and thanked him with a kiss, "Yes my love. Thank you so much. Is Samchon Ken ready?"
.
"I heard my name calling," said the deep voice from inside and as he turned into the room I felt a little relieved.
.
I turned to CJ and reminded him of what was going to happen today, "Great. Samchon will carry you to school today. Okay CJ? And remember to be a good boy when I'm gone. It will just be for a few days, okay?"
.
CJ nodded and came to hug me, "Saranghae, Eomma."
.
"Saranghae my Adeul."
.
Ken looked at me and smiled, "Let me know how things go, okay?"
.
I nodded at him and waved them goodbye. It had been almost three years of me staying away from Namjoon yet these next few days loomed over me like a cloud. I was waiting for this moment for a very long time. Would I be able to see him again? My life had changed so much and it was all because of the little boy who just left my arms: Charles Joon Verne aka CJ.
.
I sat back and remembered the past three years like it was yesterday, when Namjoon and I had spoken to each other on the plane. I was headed back to Trinidad after being 'tossed-out' like a ragged doll from his family's clan. They didn't want me for their precious son. Not that his parents didn't love me but in the upcoming months after, I noticed that they didn't fight for me either. They just accepted their family's commands and basically told Namjoon that he had to move on without me.
