The next day, Himari and Daiki had checked out by eleven and were on the train back to Tokyo by twelve. Daiki once again used Himari's shoulder as a pillow, but she was too lazy to get him to stop.

Seven hours later, they had arrived in Tokyo. Once they got out, they heard people calling their names. They turned and saw the others waiting for them.

"How was Nagano?" Himari asked Aiko and Kouske.

"Cold, but it was pretty." Aiko responded.

Himari nodded and turned to ask the twins about their trip, but just from the look on their faces, she could tell it was tiring.

"Do you guys have everything?" Aiko asked, being the responsible third year that she was.

Everyone nodded and began walking to the bus stop that was just outside of the station. When they got there, they were about to sit on the bench when they noticed that it was iced over. The six teens stood and waited for the bus in the freezing weather. The sun had long since gone down when the bus finally arrived.

Once everyone was seated Kouske called his dad to tell him that they were on their way and should be at the training center in twenty minutes time. The six were the only ones on the bus as it pulled out of the stop. The kids were talking about school and the upcoming camp.

"I can't wait till the camp. It's always so fun watching them do the training that we and your dad put together." Koji told Himari, causing her to laugh.

The bus began pulling up to a stop light, but nobody could have predicted what happened next. One second the kids were laughing and talking and the next everything went dark

It had been an hour since Kouske called to inform his dad they were on their way. Daisuke and the others began to worry. The whole team sat in the cafeteria, waiting for the kids to come back, the tv playing as they waited.

"Manato, your son did say they were on their way, right? It should have only taken twenty minutes, thirty if there was traffic." Reiji Sato, the father of the twins, said.

Manato nodded and pulled out his phone to call Kouske again, but it went straight to voicemail.

"I'm only getting voicemail." Manato said.

"Same here."

Daisuke took out his phone and decided to call his wife. She was staying at her parents' house, so maybe Himari and the others had gone there.

"Hi Dai."

"Hi honey, is Mari there?"

"No, shouldn't she be with you?"

"Yeah, she and the others are a bit late. I'll talk to you soon. Bye, love you."

"Love you too."

He hung up the phone and tried his daughter's phone again, but it went to voicemail. He kicked a chair in frustration before sitting back down.

Suddenly, the show that was playing on the tv was interrupted by a news report. One that would change everything for them.

"In breaking news, a bus crashed and flipped over after being hit by a gas tanker truck. There is no report on any survivors yet. Stay tuned for more."

The tv showed a bus flipped on its side while flames surrounded the area.

The players looked at the tv with wide eyes and turned to each other. They were hoping that the kids weren't on the bus. That they were just too busy to answer their phones.
