Himari woke up the day of the prelims with a groan. She had stayed up late making snacks and lunches for the team to eat in between their matches.

She was halfway ready when Kiyoko came to get her. She walked out of the bathroom with two clips in hair so it was out of her face. She wore the team jacket and sweatpants as she rushed to get everything. Himari then grabbed a drawstring bag off her desk and grumbled.

"Okay, let's go."

The two girls walked out of the house with the containers and bentos in a bag. Himari groaned as she felt one clip slip from her hair. Fortunately for her, they reached the school.

When they arrived they found mostly everyone by the bus. Himari gave them an apologetic smile as she approached them.

"Sorry guys."

Daichi waved off her apology with a smile, "It's cool. What's in the bags?"

"Oh, I made you guys lunch and snacks, so you guys don't get hungry."

Kageyama and Hinata were about to speak when she stopped them, "And yes, I did use your meal plans." She told the two.

"Wow, you didn't have to do that, but thanks." Suga told her.

She smiled at them, "Are you forgetting who I am? Cooking and making meals for you guys is part of my job. I'm supposed to take care of you guys."

Nishinoya and Tanaka looked at Himari with teary eyes. She backed up a little trying to get away, but Suga just pulled her back.

"That's so sweet! Thank you, Mari!" They both yelled.

"No problem you guys, now please stop yelling."

Himari handed the bags to Asahi, who volunteered to carry them. She then took the clips out of her hair and huffed. Hinata who was standing beside her smiled and put his hands out asking for the clips.

"My sister uses clips all the time." He told her as he put the clips back in her hair to keep her hair out of her face.

"Thanks Hinata, let's get on the bus now. You guys have some games to win."

When they arrived they heard a couple of people call them the wingless crows. Tanaka was about to go at them, but Daichi stopped him and they walked in.

Himari, Kiyoko, and Takeda were walking together. Takeda complimented Kiyoko on the banner and them turned to Himari with a smile,

"It's great that you're looking out for the team by making them lunch and snacks!"

Himari smiled, "They're teen boys, I don't trust them to eat healthy, especially Noya and Tanaka."

The three laughed when Tanaka and Noya began circling them. Kiyoko hit them on the head with her notebooks and they stopped. Himari dropped back to walk with Kageyama and Hinata as she heard people talking about the king of the court.

"Don't listen to them, Kageyama. We think you're totally cool now." Himari said when she saw him glaring at the people who mentioned it.

Soon, people began to notice Himari. Whispers flew around as she walked by, which she wasn't surprised by, but it annoyed her a little.

"That's Himari Nakamura! Her father coaches Japan's volleyball team!" Someone whispered.

"I heard he also coaches the boys U-19 team!"

"Maybe if we impress her, we'll get a spot!"

Dang, I wish I could decide who got on the team, I wonder if Coach Adachi would let me, Himari thought to herself as she walked with her team to the gym.

When they got to the gym, they saw another team approach them. When the team reached them, they saw it was Date Tech. The player who stood at the front with white hair and no eyebrows pointed at Asahi.

"This is awkward..." Himari muttered after a few moments of silence.

"Woah, woah, dude, please don't do that!" A new voice said. A boy with black hair ran up and tried to push the players hand down and gave Karasuno an apologetic look.

"I am so sorry about him! Can I please get a little help here?!"

His teammate who had brown hair that was swept to the side smiled and nodded, "Yeah, yeah, please excuse our giant friend here. He has a way of automatically picking out the ace on every team he sees."

When they turned to leave, the brunette turned around with a smile, "Anyway, hope you're ready, cause you're about to lose miserably."

Himari turned to look at Asahi who was trembling and sweating from the interaction. Himari snickered and slapped him on the back.

"Be confident, Asahi."

"That's difficult."

Himari shrugged and walked away leaving Noya to deal with the scared ace. She sat down on the floor where the rest of the team was stretching. She took her phone out and smiled at the message on the screen before looking up. When she did, she saw Hinata trembling and the rest of the team trying to calm him down.

"Hinata, Kenma said to do your best."

Hinata perked up before catching a glimpse of another tall team and he began trembling again. Himari turned to Asahi and pointed at him.

"Your turn, you're the one who's always nervous."

"Wha-" Asahi didn't finish his sentence since Himari just pushed him forward.

After Asahi helped Hinata, it was time for them to go into the gym. Himari walked in before remembering the drawstring bag and rushing out.

Tooru is so irresponsible. I'm going to tell Iwa, she thought as she went to the entrance.

"Iwa!" Himari yelled as she ran to the team that was just walking in.

"Nakamura? What's up?" The ace asked her.

"Where's Tooru? He forgot his knee pads at the gym we teach at, so he asked me to bring them."

The coach was startled and turned around, "Where'd Oikawa go?"

Yahaba laughed awkwardly and looked to the side, "He got held up by some girls."

The coaches held a blank look before turning to the ace, "Iwaizumi."

"Got it. Let's go, Nakamura."

The two went outside and saw girls surrounding the third year setter. Iwaizumi threw a volleyball that hit Oikawa straight on the head.

"Unbelievable! Not even the coach has ever hit me- oh." Oikawa turned around and saw the angry faces of his two friends.

"Sorry ladies, I'm going to have to take a rain check on the photo."

When Oikawa approached them with a nervous look, Himari threw the bag at him and huffed, "You're so irresponsible! Iwa, give me the ball, let me hit him!"

Iwaizumi just slapped the back of his friend's head, and patted Himari's head, "You should head back to your team now, their game will be starting soon."

"You're right, see ya!" Himari said as she ran off.

"Sorry guys! I'm back!" Himari yelled. She had gotten back a little later than she thought since a woman stopped her for an interview, but she was able to make it back before the game started.

She picked up some of the water bottles and helped Kiyoko fill them up. When they finished they headed to the bench and sat down.

"Play a good game guys." Himari told them with a smile.

They all nodded and smiled at her before heading on to the court.

"Thank you for the game!"
