It had been a day since the practice game against Nekoma and Himari was getting ready for bed when her phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Mari, it's me, Kenma."
Himari smiled widely as she sat in her bed.
"Hi Kenma, what's up?"
"Nothing really, I just wanted to talk to you."
"Alright then, are you ready for your games?"
She heard Kenma shuffle around before he answered, "It's the same every time, so yeah."
"That's good. Hey, are you playing any new video games?"
In his house in Tokyo, Kenma's eyes immediately lit up. He began talking about a new game that he wanted to get, but he had to save his allowance.
"I'll get it for you."
"What? No, you don't have to do that."
"You're my best friend, I'll get you that game and send it over, kay?"
"Yeah, okay. Thanks Mari." Kenma said, smiling softly as he sat at his desk.
"No problem. Now tell me about that new kid that joined your team."
Kenma groaned at the thought of him, "His name's Lev. He's definitely taller than that blond middle blocker on your team, but he's clumsy and doesn't know what he's doing."
Himari laughed at the description, "No way he's taller than Tsukishima. That's crazy!"
"Yeah, you'll just have to come to Tokyo and see for yourself."
Himari's eyes began to close, but she managed to smile and reply back, "I'll do that. Then you can show me how to play that new game that you said was at the arcade."
"Yeah, we'll do that."
It was silent for a moment before Kenma heard Himari's soft snores.
"Good night, Mari." Kenma said as he smiled to himself.
