The next day, Himari woke up with a pounding headache. She knew she shouldn't have stayed up all night for the last three days, but she had to catch up on the episodes of her favorite show.
"Achoo!"
Kiyoko looked at Himari with concern, but the younger girl just waved her off. Unfortunately, she kept sneezing, so she wasn't allowed in the kitchen.
"I'm feeling fine, Kaori!" Himari complained as the third year blocked the kitchen entrance.
"You're sneezing."
"I have allergies!"
(She did not have allergies).
"Still, no."
Himari groaned and walked back to the girls' room. She sat down on her futon and groaned as she rubbed her eyes that continued to water.
"I'm not sick." Himari muttered to herself and then she sneezed again.

Throughout the day, Himari sluggishly did her manager duties. Her team looked at her with concern, but she just waved them off and continued on doing her job.
"Mari, are you okay?" Suga asked.
Himari glared at the third year, "I'm fine! Why does everyone keep asking me that?!"
Suga flinched and held his hands up in a surrender. Himari grumbled and walked past him.
After that, everyone steered clear of the cranky girl.

After dinner, Kuroo, Bokuto, Akaashi, Hinata, Lev and Tsukishima were in one of the gyms playing a three on three when Yukie ran in.
"Kuroo, Mari is going crazy! She won't stop yelling at us!"
The boys looked at her confused, but then they heard someone yell.
"Shut up!"
Yukie flinched and walked further in. A couple of seconds later, Himari walked in with her pink pajamas that had cats printed all over them, her hair down and messy, a red nose and watery eyes.
"Mari, what's wrong?" Kuroo asked softly.
Himari looked up at him with a pout and Kuroo gave her a soft smile. He placed his hand on her forehead and sighed when he felt the large amount of heat radiating off of her.
"You're burning up. Did you stay up all night?"
Himari looked away, not wanting to admit that she had in fact stayed up.
"Mari, you know you shouldn't stay up all night."
The other boys just watched the interaction in amusement.
It looks like he's scolding a child, they thought.
Tsukishima snickered, but he soon stopped when Himari glared at him.
Kuroo sighed again, combing his fingers through Himari's hair as she sniffled. She leaned into his touch causing him to smile.
"Mari, how about I call your dad so he can bring his famous egg congee for you to eat?"
Himari's eyes were practically sparkling as she nodded her head quickly.
"Alright, go to bed right now, and I'll call your dad."
Himari nodded again and hugged Kuroo before leaving the gym. Yukie followed her at a safe distance, still a little scared of her. Once they got back to the girls' room, Himari immediately crashed onto her futon and fell asleep.
The girls let out a sigh of relief when they saw that she was calm. Kiyoko tucked her in and placed a water bottle and some medicine next to her so she can eat when she woke up.
That day, everyone learned that Himari was quite cranky when she's sick.
~
The next day, Himari got up a little later. She took the medicine that Kiyoko left and put on a mask before heading to the gym. She slammed the door open causing everyone to flinch and she went and sat in a secluded corner.
Across the gym, Kuroo sighed at his niece who was still obviously sick. As he was on his break, he got a text from his brother-in-law saying he had arrived. Kuroo got up and opened the gym doors for the man who gave him a pat on the back as he entered.
The gym became silent as they watched the man walk towards his daughter who had fallen asleep. The three teams who didn't know about Himari's dad, were silently freaking out.
"Akaashi, that's the Daisuke Nakamura!" Bokuto whisper yelled.
Akaashi silently nodded with wide eyes, not having any words to say.
Daisuke crouched in front of his daughter and gently shook her awake. Himari slowly opened her eyes and they instantly brightened when she saw her dad.
"Dad!"
She hugged the man who laughed and patted her back. She let go and looked at the bag he was holding with anticipation.
"I made egg congee for you." He said before turning to the people in the gym who were watching the interaction.
"Sorry if she was cranky. She becomes a really spoiled princess when she gets sick."
"Dad!" She whined.
Kuroo smirked, "You know only Kenma is allowed to call her princess."
Himari's and Kenma's faces went red as Kuroo and Daisuke laughed.
"That was when we were kids, let it go!" Kenma exclaimed, shocking everyone at his outburst.
Daisuke and Kuroo laughed harder as Himari weakly punched them. Kenma threw a volleyball at the two. They soon stopped laughing, wiping the tears from their eyes.
"You guys are mean." Himari mumbled, causing her dad to laugh and hug her.
"You know you love us."
"Whatever."
Her dad laughed and kissed her forehead. He patted Kuroo and Kenma on the back, the latter still having a very red face, before heading towards the doors.
"Do your best with your training!" He told everyone before leaving.
It took a couple of seconds, but the gym soon erupted into chaos. Bokuto ran towards Himari, who was eating her egg congee, with a shocked and excited look.
"Your dad is Daisuke Nakamura?!" He practically yelled in her face.
Himari blinked at him before nodding, "Yeah. My last name pretty much answers that."
Bokuto began jumping up and down waving his fists around, "That's so cool! Do you get to watch their practices?"
Himari nodded again and then pointed to his team, "Your team is waiting for you."
Bokuto jumped and nodded before running back to his team. After that Himari was able to enjoy her egg congee with a smile on her face. Everyone mentally thanked her dad for bringing her the food and calming her down.
