Was Himari totally ghosting the team because they didn't listen to her? Yes.

Was it childish? Also yes, but she didn't feel like working with them if they weren't going to put in the effort to become a better team. Sure, they were working hard and practicing, but polishing a sword over and over can cause it to break.

As she sat in her room coming up with training menus for the U-19 team with Daiki who had always helped her with them, when suddenly she got a call from Kiyoko.

"Hey Daiki, I'm going to put you on hold for a second."

"Kay."

Himari switched to Kiyoko's call already knowing what she was going to say.

"Hey Kiyoko, what's up?"

"Come to practice."

"Dang, I think my cell service is bad or something, because I can't hear you at all."

"Mari, stop being petty."

"What did you say? Stop being pretty? Sorry, but that's out of my control."

She heard Kiyoko let out an exasperated sigh, which made her laugh.

"Please, Mari. The team has something to show you."

"Ugh, fine."

Himari ended the call, switching back over to Daiki's,

"Hey, I have to go to practice. I'll send pictures of the notes I took for the menus."

"Alright, have fun. I'll send copies of the training menus for the binder."

"Kay, bye."

She ended the call and got up from her bed. She tied her hair up and changed into her PE kit before leaving.

She took her sweet time getting to the school gym, stopping by Sakanoshita to get a snack. Once she got to the gym, she slammed the doors open, causing everyone to look at her.

"What? Kiyoko told me to come." She said, a little weirded out by their staring. She walked over to Kiyoko and gave her a confused look.

"What did they want to show me?"

Kiyoko smiled and gestured for the third years to come to them. Himari looked at them and they nervously smiled at her.

"Mari, we realized you were right. We can't keep depending on Kageyama and Hinata to win, we need to put in more effort."

"Yeah, we all want to pull our weight to win. You're right, we can't rely on the freak quick attack as our only weapon, we need more weapons in our arsenal. That's what we're going to do, so please keep helping us!"

Himari was shocked before she smiled. The third years smiled back at her with determination.

"Alright, then let's see what you guys got so far."

~

Himari was currently with Noya helping him learn how to set the ball.

"When you're setting just pretend like you're passing the ball to the spiker, which you are doing. Just don't think of it as setting the ball."

Noya nodded and began working on it, also asking Suga for some advice.

Himari then wandered to the gym where Ukai, Daichi, Suga, Ennoshita, and Tanaka were.

"What are you guys working on?"

"Synchronized attack."

Himari's eyebrows shot up and she smiled, "You know if you guys get that down and Noya gets his setting down, then you can have him set for a synchronized attack and Kageyama could join the attack."

All of their faces broke out into a grin and they nodded. Himari then noticed the video they were watching and smiled.

"The Brazilian national team, huh? Those guys are incredible at synchronizing their movements. Seeing it in person is crazy."

"You've seen it?!"

Himari nodded and looked at the group, "Anyway, you guys work on that. If you need help I'll be with Kiyoko."

That night Hinata texted her asking she would come with him to his practice. She texted back saying she would.

The next day, she met up with Hinata and Ukai to go to the old Coach Ukai's house. Once they got there Hinata pulled Himari to the back where the old Coach Ukai was training kids.

"Look, it's Sho! He brought someone!" A kid who kind of looked like Oikawa exclaimed.

The other kids looked up and Himari waved at them, "Hey."

"Guys, this is Himari Nakamura, Mari, these are the people I train with, and that's the old Coach Ukai." Hinata said.

Himari looked at them and nodded before turning to Hinata, "Let's see what you got so far."

For the entire time they were there Himari gave Hinata pointers and corrections until he did it right five times in a row.

At one point, the setter set the ball too low, but Hinata got to it and hit the ball. Himari and the kids smiled widely and gave him a thumbs up.

"That was a good save, Sho!" The girl who was playing as the setter exclaimed, making Hinata blush.

"She's right, you used to freak out if the timing wasn't perfect!" The kid said

"I did not!"

"You so did." Himari said with a smile.

Hinata glared at her, but she shrugged and walked to where the old man was tending to the crops.

"Nakamura, right?"

Himari nodded and he smiled, "How's your father doing?"

Himari was shocked, "You know him?"

"I met him when I took Karasuno to nationals."

Himari thought for a moment trying to remember if she'd seen him before.

"Oh, you had the tiny giant on your team. I remember him. Anyway, my dad is doing well. Right now he and Coach Adachi are looking at all the players who could qualify for the All-Japan Youth Camp." She whispered the last part to keep Hinata from hearing.

"That's good. You're training the boys well I hear."

Himari nodded, "Yeah, we're going back to the training camp, and I have a lot of ideas that could help them."

He nodded and smiled before calling for Hinata. Himari went back to the others and they handed her a popsicle.

"Thanks."

They ate in silence until it was time for Hinata and Himari to go home.

"Bye Sho, Mari!"

"Bye!"

Throughout the two weeks before they went back to the training camp, the team did everything they could to fill their arsenal with new weapons.

It was a hectic two weeks, but by the time they had to go back to Tokyo, they knew what they needed to work on.

Himari was excited to see their progress.
