The team had arrived to the Sendai City Gymnasium and even before they got in, Noya and Tanaka tried attacking Terushima.

"Terushima, cut it out." Himari said as she approached them.

"Nakamura! Looks like we'll be playing against you first. See ya around." Terushima waved and left with his team.

Himari turned around to face the boys, but then she heard yelling and running. She sighed before running after the two hyper first years.

"Kageyama, Hinata, stop running!"

~

"Jeez, why am I stuck finding Hinata?" Himari mumbled to herself. She turned the corner and saw Oikawa, Iwa, and Ushiwaka having a stare off. Lo and behold, Hinata was right in the middle.

"Hinata!"

The tiny number ten turned around and smiled, relieved to see Himari.

"Mari!"

Himari looked between the three other players and pushed them away from each other.

"As much as everyone is enjoying your little stare off, you're blocking the bathroom. Oh, and Karasuno is going to nationals."

Himari smiled and led Hinata away, "There's another bathroom close to where we're playing, hurry."

Hinata nodded and ran. Once he was gone, Himari brushed a hand through her hair and went back to her team.

"Where's Hinata?" Kageyama asked when she got back.

"Using the bathroom, he'll be here for warm ups, don't worry."

Kageyama nodded and began setting the ball for spiking drills. Himari, Kiyoko, and Yachi filled up all the water bottles and made it back when the game was about to start. Yachi quickly told the boys to do their best before running up to the balcony to watch.

The game started off with Asahi serving, and Johzenji sloppily received it, sending it to the end line. It looked like it was going to go out, but Terushima spiked and got a point.

"Having fun as usual." Himari mumbled.

She had known Terushima for a while and it was safe to say that he and his little sister were exactly alike when it came to playing volleyball.

The game continued with Johzenji making random movements which caused Karasuno to get confused since they couldn't find a pattern to follow.

Hinata pulled off some crazy move to receive the ball which was then received again by Noya who sent it over the net and got the team a point. Karasuno finally got momentum after Hinata and Kageyama pulled off the super quick attack. Johzenji however continued with their random moves.

"Kageyama needs to calm down." Himari muttered.

Unfortunately, he didn't and he ended up blocking the ball with his face. Himari covered her mouth to keep her laughter from spilling out. A time out was called and everyone went to check on the setter.

Himari took out some tissues and pressed it against Kageyama's nose to stop the bleeding.

"Hey, until you stop bleeding you're going to have to sit out. Might as well get checked out." Daichi said.

"Whatever man, I'm fine!"

"Uh, no you're not."

Himari pinched Kageyama's nose harder causing him to groan in pain, "Oh you seem hurt, you should go to the infirmary."

Kageyama glared at the brunette and Tadashi pushed him out of the gym and handed him off to Yachi.

"Suga, you're up." Ukai said.

The third year smiled and nodded. He ran out onto the court and Hinata was also switched out with Narita.

Kageyama soon came back from the infirmary without a bloody nose. He stood with the other players, antsy to get back to playing.

Karasuno eventually took the first set after Johzenji tried to copy the synchronized attack.

After a short break, the teams were back on the court to play the second set. The game started with Hinata and Kageyama attempting a quick attack.

Key word is attempting.

Hinata missed the set causing Suga to yell and Himari to facepalm.

"They can never calm down during a game, can they?"

Kiyoko laughed and the two watched as Daichi received the missed ball. The team smiled, knowing that Daichi already suspected the two first years would probably mess up.

"Always the reliable captain." Tadashi said.

The game continued with the teams going back and forth. Finally, Johzenji began playing more seriously, though they still had their random plays.

Eventually, Karasuno won the game after Johzenji attempted to do a synchronized attack again. When they left the gym, Himari turned to Johzenji and smiled,

"I'll see you the next time you drop your sister off, right Terushima?"

The blond boy looked at her before smiling, "Yeah, I'll see you then. Also, make sure you guys get to nationals, I want to see you on tv again."

"Well, obviously we will. Bye, see you later."

Terushima waved and turned back to his team. Himari also went back to her own team only to see Yachi almost getting attacked by Tanaka and Noya.

She shook her head and saw that Ennoshita had it handled, so she went to find the other first years. She found them looking at the next team they were playing: Waku South.

"Guys let's go. We have to get back to school for the meeting."

~

The next day, the team arrived back to the gymnasium and were warming up. The sound of some guy named 'Takeru' was being yelled out by a family of four in the stands and it was getting on Himari's nerves.

"I totally get that they're happy for their son or brother, but do they have to cheer during warm ups?" Himari asked as she handed Ennoshita a water bottle.

The second year laughed, "it's fine, Mari. No harm is being done."

"What about my ears?"

Ennoshita just shook his head with a smile and handed her the bottle after taking a sip. She turned to look at the other team with a scrutinizing gaze.

On the other side of the net, the captain could feel her stare and began sweating. He was determined to show off, especially since Himari was watching.

After the warm ups, the two teams got into position for the game to start. Once the whistle blew, the ball was up.

Day two had begun.
