It was a cold day in Miyagi, and the Karasuno volleyball team and the managers had finished practice and were in Ukai's store getting some snacks.

"Did you guys hear about that bus crash in Tokyo? It looked really bad." Tanaka said as he grabbed snacks.

Suga nodded, "Yeah, I hope everyone that was involved is okay."

The group walked up to the cash register where Ukai, Shimada, and Takinoue were talking. Behind them on the wall, a small tv was playing the news.

"We were finally able to get more information on the passengers who were on the bus. Daiki Hirayama, Aiko Takahashi, Koji Sato, Hikari Sato, Kouske Ito, and Himari Nakamura, these were the six passengers who were on the bus. Currently they are in the hospital in serious condition."

Everyone in the store froze as they heard the news. Their eyes were wide open as they looked at each other. After a few moments, Kiyoko quickly took out and called Himari, but it went to voicemail.

"Let me call Kuroo," Daichi said quickly as he took his own phone out. They watched him as his eyes widened listening to the Nekoma captain speak before the call ended.

"Well?" Tsukishima prompted.

"Mari's in the hospital. She was hurt pretty badly and she's unconscious, but Kuroo said we could visit her. He said she'll probably be able to hear us."

It was quiet for a moment before Ukai spoke up, "I'll ask Takeda to give you guys a day off tomorrow. We'll visit her tomorrow, so go home and get some rest."

The next day, the whole Karasuno team took the train to Tokyo to visit Himari. The ride was quiet and long as they sat in their seats worried for their friend.

Once they got to the hospital, Himari's dad greeted them with a sad smile. They could tell he hadn't been sleeping much, due to the dark bags underneath his eyes.

"Good morning sir." Daichi greeted.

"Good morning. Mari already has three visitors, so it might be a little crowded."

The group followed the tired man down the hall. Once they got to the room their friend was in, they could hear arguing. When Daisuke opened the door, they found Iwaizumi looking stressed, while Oikawa was glaring at a stoic Ushiwaka who was holding a vase with flowers in it.

"My flowers are going in the vase!" Oikawa exclaimed.

"But I got here first."

"Just put both flowers in the vase, please."

Ushiwaka nodded and reached for Oikawa's flowers, but Oikawa snatched them away and held his hand out for the vase.

"I don't like it, but fine," he grumbled as he put the flowers he got in the vase.

Daichi coughed and got the attention of the three third years. They turned to the group a little shocked, but composed themselves.

"Uh, hey," Oikawa greeted awkwardly.

"Hi..."

The three third years moved out of the way to let Himari's team see her. When they saw their friend, they took in a sharp breath.

She looked awful. Her hair was still matted, she was still in the same clothes, and she was pale and had multiple bruises.

"Oh gosh..."

Her friends watched as her chest rose and fell slowly. They had frowns on their faces as they just stood there.

"She can hear you, so talk to her." Iwaizumi told them with a sad smile on his face.
