After talking with Takeru, Himari went back to her team and found them watching the Seijoh match against Date Tech. It was a close game, but Seijoh ended up winning, meaning they were their next opponents.
"Looks like we have next opponents. Let's go and get ready." Daichi said, his tone serious.
Everyone got up and walked out. Yachi looked around at everyone's serious face, confused.
"Why do they look so tense?"
"Last time they played Seijoh, they gave everything they had, but still lost."
Himari nodded, "Yeah, but we're going to win this time."
The group entered into an empty gym to stretch and get ready for the game. Himari walked up to Kageyama who was sitting on the ground and filing his nails.
"Are you nervous?" Himari asked.
Kageyama glanced at her before looking away, "Yeah, Oikawa's a great player."
Himari nodded, "He is, but a team of six is better than one."
Kageyama looked a little shocked before nodding, "I know, I heard Iwaizumi tell Oikawa that back in middle school."
The brunette watched as Hinata walked towards them. She got up and walked away with a smile, knowing that Hinata would know what to say.
Himari helped the others stretch and calm down. When it was almost time, she stood next to the other managers.
"Alright, is everyone here? It's almost time, let's go!" Daichi announced.
Everyone followed the captain to the gym that they would be playing in. They began warming up by doing receives and other drills. Kageyama's ball accidentally went over to Seijoh's side right next to Oikawa. Himari was helping Noya when she saw the two setters fighting over the ball.
"Hold on, I'll be back."
Himari walked over to Oikawa and slapped the back of his head. His grip on the volleyball didn't loosen.
"Tooru, let go of the ball."
He listened, causing Kageyama to fall backwards. Oikawa began laughing and Himari was getting a headache.
"Oh my gosh, he is a child." She muttered under her breath.
The other third years heard and also began questioning their captain's real age.
"Kageyama, let's go."
The setter got up and glared at Oikawa before walking to Himari. Oikawa huffed, a little mad that his friend was on the other team.
After Kageyama began warming up, Himari walked up to Yachi and began talking to her. She laughed at how worried the shorter girl was. From across the net, Yahaba and Kindaichi were watching, jealous that they didn't have a manager.
Himari could feel someone staring and turned around to see the two Seijoh players looking at her. She smiled and waved at them, but they turned around quickly.
"Yachi, a ball." Himari pointed out as a ball came rolling their way. The two girls walked towards it, only to find another ball flying towards their face. Fortunately, Kiyoko was able to stand in between them and deflect the ball.
"Thanks Kiyoko!"
The team continued to warm up until the whistle blew for them to line up. Yachi hurried to the top seats while Kiyoko and Himari sat down on the bench.
The two captains shook hands and Daichi chose to receive the ball. Soon, all the players were in position for the game to start.
"I'm so excited!" Himari exclaimed as she watched Hinata and Kageyama have a stare off with Oikawa.
