Hinata was at Himari's house studying, or at least they were trying to.
"Hinata, what are you doing?"
Hinata flinched as he reached out to hold a volleyball that had names signed on it.
"Nothing!"
Himari sighed before grabbing her stuff to head to her room. She motioned for Hinata to follow her. When they reached her room, Hinata was underwhelmed at how plain it was.
"We're studying here, so you can't get distracted. I'll show you everything after."
Hinata nodded quickly and got his books out.

It had been two hours since the study session began and they got no work done. Himari had gotten out a box of beads and some string and they were making bracelets, studying was long forgotten.
Each bracelet had their first name spelled out with letter beads and black and orange beads on either side. After that, Himari brought out charms to put on the bracelets.
Himari and Hinata both chose a sun charm and a volleyball charm. After they finished, they put them on and smiled.
"Wow, I really like it!" Hinata exclaimed.
"Me too!"
Himari looked at the time before turning to Hinata, "Well, it's getting late and we got no studying in."
Hinata looked shocked and quickly gathered his stuff. He rushed and put his shoes on and turned to Himari with a smile,
"This was so fun! Bye!"
Himari waved and smiled before closing the door and groaning, "Daichi is going to be so mad."

The next day after practice, Daichi asked Hinata how his studying went the day prior. Himari and Hinata flinched at the question before turning to face the captain with bright smiles.
"Great!"
"Fantastic!"
"We studied so much!"
The two laughed nervously and tugged their sleeves down. Daichi noticed and quickly grabbed their hands, rolling their sleeves up.
"You guys didn't study, did you?"
The two first years shook their heads.
"You two made friendship bracelets?"
They nodded.
Daichi sighed and let them go. They breathed a sigh of relief and walked away.
"If you two don't pass, then I'll make sure you face the consequences!"
Himari glanced at Hinata with a smile, "He's talking to you."
Hinata glared at her, "Yeah, well, you didn't study either."
"I don't need to."
Hinata huffed and crossed his arms. Himari patted him on the back and smiled,
"Ask Yachi to help. She's a great teacher."
Hinata brightened up and nodded.
Himari concluded that she was in fact a terrible teacher.
