The week after the exams, the team set out for Tokyo. Well, except for Kageyama and Hinata, who each failed one exam.
The bus ride was filled with chatter before everyone eventually fell asleep. Once they got there Kiyoko dragged a tired Himari out of the bus. Kiyoko let go of the sleeping girl once they were out and she was about to fall over when someone stopped her.
"Woah, can't let my niece get a concussion."
Himari opened her eyes a little and saw Kuroo smiling at her before closing her eyes again. He sighed and tossed her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
The Karasuno members laughed while Yachi was freaking out, thinking that her friend just got kidnapped.
"Is Mari okay?" Yachi asked, her voice shaking.
Kiyoko laughed and nodded, "Yeah, those two are related."
Yachi let out a sigh of relief and followed Kiyoko inside.
Daichi was explaining to Kuroo how Hinata and Kageyama failed the exam when they heard giggling coming from Himari.
"Yachi totally freaked out about their exams. I thought it was kind of funny." Himari said while Kuroo was still carrying her.
He put her down and she stumbled a bit before running after Kiyoko.
"Mari, don't overdo it!" Kuroo yelled after her.
Daichi laughed at their interaction before he called the team to follow them. Once everyone got into the gym, they saw all the different teams practicing.
"Go get settled and then you guys can warm up and join." Kuroo said as he walked past them.
They nodded and headed off. The three girls were staying in a different room, so they split away from the rest of the team and found the rest of the managers.
When they opened the door, four other girls were already in there. One of the girls from Fukurodani gasped and pulled them in.
"You guys are from Karasuno, right?"
The three nodded and the girls smiled. They introduced themselves and explained what their jobs were. Kiyoko, Himari, and Yachi put their things next to the three empty futons while the other girls told them the schedule.
"We'll be in the gym!" Yukie told them.
Once they were finished settling in, they went to the gym where they heard volleyball shoes and volleyballs hitting the ground.
"That's a lot of players." Himari mumbled, recognizing a few.
The three of them went to their bench and waited for their players to come in. While they did that Kiyoko told them about the teams and their specialities.
After a while, Himari wandered over to Nekoma where they were taking a break. Kenma smiled and immediately got up to greet her.
"Mari, hi."
"Hi, Kenma. Did you get the game?"
Kenma's eyes lit up and he nodded, "Yeah, it's really difficult, but I'm having fun."
The brunette smiled, "I'm glad to hear that."
Kenma just smiled back and they were like that until a giant appeared behind the setter.
"Is that Lev?" Himari asked.
Lev's eyes widened and he nodded, "Yeah, I'm Lev!"
"Kenma's told me about you. I can't wait to see you play."
