The next day, Himari woke up with a bright smile on her face. She got ready for the day and walked downstairs, greeting her grandparents and Kuroo.
"Good morning!"
"Morning, Mari. Any plans for today?" Her grandmother asked.
Himari nodded, "I'm going to the arcade with Kenma!"
Kuroo gasped, "He said he was busy today!"
"He is, with me. It's not my fault he likes me better."
Kuroo took a spoonful of his cereal and muttered, "Yeah, everyone knows that."
Himari didn't hear him though since she was eating her own cereal, too excited for the day ahead of her.
After she finished, she put her shoes on and headed to Kenma's house. She rang the doorbell and his mom answered with a smile.
"Himari, long time no see! I assume you're here for Kenma?"
Himari nodded with a smile as she walked into the house. Kenma's mom called for him and he hurried down the stairs, ready for the day.
"Hi Mari, are you ready to go?"
Himari nodded happily and Kenma smiled. He put his shoes on and the two of them headed out.
"I ordered your game, so it should be delivered tomorrow."
Kenma smiled at the girl, happy that he gets to hang out with her again.
"Thanks Mari."
The two of them got to the bus stop and sat down waiting. Kenma noticed the bracelet on Himari's wrist and decided to ask her about it.
"Mari, did you make that bracelet?"
Himari looked down and smiled, "Yeah, I was supposed to be tutoring Hinata for the exams, but we got distracted."
Kenma felt a little jealous that he didn't have a bracelet and Himari noticed his lack of response.
"Aww, Kenma, are you jealous?" She asked with a smile.
"No." The reply was quick which gave it away.
"How about we make one the next time I come? I'll bring everything we'll need."
Kenma looked at the brunette with a small smile and nodded, "Yeah, I'd like that."
"Alright."
The bus soon came and the two got on. It wasn't crowded so that was good. They sat in a comfortable silence and enjoyed the ride.
Once they got to their stop, they got off and walked to the arcade. It was bright inside with neon lights and multiple games.
Kenma grabbed Himari's hand and led her to the game he talked to her about.
"I'm totally going to win." Himari declared.
"Yeah, no."
She playfully glared at Kenma before she looked at the screen. Once both of them were ready, Kenma started the game.
~
"What?!" Himari exclaimed as she lost for the tenth time in a row.
Kenma laughed at her frustration and took out the tickets that he won.
"I let you win."
"You let me win ten times in a row?"
"Yeah, let's play again, I'm going to win this time!"
They played again and this time, Himari won. She gasped happily and jumped up and down.
"I won! Ha!"
Kenma smiled softly at her excitement as she showed him her tickets.
What she didn't know was that Kenma had let her win and he continued to do that throughout the day. He even gave her his tickets, because he liked to see her happy.
It was a fun day.
