Once Himari and the other girls were done changing, they went down to the lobby to wait for the boys.

As boys slowly started to arrive in the lobby, Kota and Hana kept telling them to be strong and to not give up no matter what, which made them nervous.

Once they made it to the beach, Himari led them to an area with two volleyball nets. She smiled as she took some volleyballs out of the bag she was carrying. Soon, everyone gathered around her and she took out a piece of paper.

"Alright, this training will help you improve each of your individual abilities. Just so you don't get the wrong idea, I'm not saying that you guys will play as individuals, but everyone should be strong on their own. This training will help all of you, even the strongest players here, to improve in the most basic of actions, like passing, jumping, and spiking."

Everyone nodded along with what she said, though some of them were confused with how beach volleyball would help them.

"Now, here's your warmups. Do it times three." She handed a paper to each of the captains who slowly paled. The warmups were difficult on their own, but doing it in the sand would be even harder.

"Go, hurry up, so we can start the games."

~

The boys finished the warmups with great difficulty while the managers were relaxing on the beach lounge chairs and the coaches were watching and feeling sorry for their players.

"She's crazy!" Konoha from Fukurodani exclaimed.

"I can't move..." Lev mumbled as he laid on the ground.

"Mari and her dad always go all out..." Kuroo said as he wiped the sweat from his face.

"We're done..." Daichi said, reaching for a water bottle.

Himari took off her sunglasses and put them on her head. She clapped her hands and stood up. She looked to the other managers who stood up as well.

"The staff brought watermelons for you guys to eat before you start playing. Sit down and we'll give you a piece." Kaori announced.

Himari handed out water bottles as the boys tried to catch their breath. They chugged their water and then ate the watermelons before getting back on their feet.

"Alright, we'll split it just like we did at the last camp, so one team won't be playing. Once the clock hits five, we'll move to the gym to play."

Himari clapped her hands together and the teams split up like at the camp. She could see that they were struggling with everything, but she just smiled and watched.

"Hey, Mari, what will they get out of this? It looks like they are really struggling." Yachi said with furrowed brows.

"Don't worry, this is all a part of their training."

~

Hours passed and the clock finally struck five. Himari let everyone relax and Kouji and Hana brought out more watermelons.

"That was so hard! I couldn't receive the ball properly!" Noya complained.

"I wasn't able to spike as well either!" Bokuto exclaimed. He had gone into his emo mode multiple times.

"Alright guys, let's head to the gym!" Himari yelled after fifteen minutes.

Once everyone got to the gym, they put their shoes on and sighed in relief since they had been playing barefoot.

Once they started playing, all the teams noticed how much easier it was for them to move around and jump.

"Woah, this is so much easier!" Lev exclaimed.

"I'm jumping higher!" Hinata exclaimed.

Himari gave them a smile and a thumbs up. The coaches looked at her wondering about how the beach training worked.

"Nakamura, it's just a mental illusion, right? That it's easier for them to move?" Ukai asked.

Himari shook her head and pointed to her own feet, "The most important thing when a person kicks off the ground to run is focusing all the energy up at the front, at the base of the big toe. When they play on the sand, they are forced to fix the way they run. When they jump, the majority of the weight is being pulled by the quads, playing on the sand strengths their quads and they'll be able to jump higher."

The coaches looked back at the boys and saw that she was right. They were moving faster towards the ball. They were jumping slightly higher.

"That's incredible, Nakamura! How did you come up with this training?" Takeda asked.

"Oh, my dad brings his players here all the time, so I just adjusted the training menu a little for these guys."

The coaches nodded and continued watching the game until it was time to go eat dinner. The boys sluggishly changed their clothes and walked out to where Himari was waiting.

"The coaches and other managers already went ahead. Follow me, I'll take you guys to the dining hall."

The boys followed her tiredly, but once they saw all the food, they perked up and rushed over to get some of everything.

"Huh, they're really hungry." Himari mumbled, not noticing the looks the managers and coaches were giving her.

Yeah, because of you, the managers and coaches thought.

~

The next two days were the same, and everyone improved immensely. However, Himari still had one more thing to do.

On the last day, the boys gathered around Himari who had huge barrels filled with ice and water beside her.

"Mari, what's this?" Daichi asked.

"Ice baths! It's good for recovery and pain relief."

The boys paled and some tried escaping, but the managers stopped them.

"Now, who's going first?"

~

A lot of the boys complained, but Himari just brushed it off. Once all the boys had gone, it was time for them to leave.

"Kota, Hana, thanks for being great hosts!" Himari exclaimed and hugged the two staff members.

"Aww, Mari, we'll always help you." Kota said while patting her back.

"Yeah, it was so fun seeing you again!"

All the boys, coaches, and managers stood in front of the staff members with exhausted smiles on their faces.

"Thank you for having us!"

The staff members smiled and nodded, "Do your best!"

Soon, everyone was piled into the buses once again to head back to camp. Himari instantly fell asleep as she sat next to Kuroo, who leaned his head on hers and also slept peacefully.

The three days had been tough, but it had also helped them build their muscles and fix the way they play.

Now it was time for the crows to evolve.
