Himari was walking with Yachi back to their classroom, when Kiyoko approached them.
"Are you Yachi?"
Himari smiled brightly and nodded, "Yeah!"
Yachi looked at Himari with a confused look, but the taller girl just gave her an innocent smile.

After school, Himari dragged Yachi to the gym as Kiyoko walked next to them. The blonde first year was a little scared, but Himari reassured her that everything would be fine.
Once they arrived, Yachi clung onto Himari's uniform. The taller girl patted her head as they walked in.
"You found a new person?! That's so cool!" Hinata exclaimed.
Yachi flinched and began shaking, but Himari just smiled at her. The team ran up to them, wanting to see the new person.
"Who's that?" Noya asked.
Kiyoko smiled at them and looked at Yachi, "Well team, I would like you to meet our potential new manager..."
Yachi stood beside Himari nervously, "My name's Yachi!"
Yachi began to get overwhelmed with all the staring and talking, but she didn't move.
"That's great, now we have two managers for next year." Asahi said.
"Yeah!"
Yachi began freaking out again, so Kiyoko got them to back off a little. A while later, Yachi left to do some of her classroom duties.
Inside the gym, Daichi looked at the two girls with a smile, "I didn't know you two were looking for a new manager."
"Well, I'm a third year, so I want to pass off my duties to people I trust."
The players began tearing up, while Himari just smiled.
"What about you Mari?" Hinata asked.
"I don't want to deal with you guys by myself."
The third years nodded, "That's fair."

The next day, while Himari and Yachi were having lunch, Hinata and Kageyama walked in.
"Hey Yachi, Mari, sorry to bug you guys."
Yachi was freaking out while Himari patted her shoulder and laughed.
"You two should introduce yourselves." Himari said.
The two nodded and told Yachi their names. Himari threw her trash away and walked back to her seat.
"So, why are you guys here?" She asked them.
"Do you two enjoy studying?"
"I don't hate it." Yachi answered nervously.
"It's alright, I guess."
Hinata then showed them his notebook, "It would be great if you could help us with english. Wouldn't it, Kageyama?"
"If you don't mind."
Hinata looked back at them with a desperate face, "If we fail our exams next month, we can't take the trip to Tokyo, so we had that four-eyed bully, Tsukishima tutoring us and he keeps getting irritated with us because we're so stupid-"
"Geez, Hinata, he's not that bad is he?" Kageyama asked.
"Fine, but wouldn't you rather have a nice teacher?"
Yachi and Himari looked at each other and nodded.
"We can if you want us to." Yachi said.
"Really?!"
"Sure!"
~
"Wow Yachi, your notes are so easy to read! So are yours, Mari!"
Yachi laughed, "It's nothing."
Yachi began explaining how she studied and how to make it easier for them.
"So Hyena-" Yachi began.
"It's Hinata."
"Oh, Hinata, do you like to study?"
Hinata explained how he hated sitting still and then began talking about the Tokyo trip. Yachi was getting confused by all the volleyball terminology, so Himari patted her shoulder with a smile.
"I'll explain everything to you, don't worry."
Yachi nodded and continued listening to Hinata talk about the different players they met. Yachi then said something that almost made Himari choke on her water. Kageyama patted her back as she coughed.
"Does that mean you're like that manager?"
Hinata looked at her confused, "Why?"
"It's just, I thought only tall people play volleyball, and most of the guys on the team are pretty tall..."
Hinata stood up and pointed to himself, "Oh no, I am short, but I'm still a starter, at least for now."
Yachi began freaking out while Himari laughed and patted her back.
"I'm sorry!"
Hinata reassured Yachi that it was fine, and Himari zoned out for the rest of lunch. She laid her head down and eventually fell asleep.

When school was over, Yachi shook Himari awake. The brunette whined but eventually got up.
"Let's go to the gym." Yachi said, her face full of determination.
The two changed into their PE kits and once they arrived at the gym, Yachi stood outside nervously looking in. Himari stifled a yawn and waved at Hinata who immediately rushed over.
Once Hinata and Yachi were talking, Himari walked inside and immediately went to the corner to lie down.
"Mari, get up."
Himari let out a fake snore and Kiyoko sighed. The brunette turned around so her back was to the court and Kiyoko sighed again.
"Daichi, can you get her up?"
Daichi walked over to them and chuckled when he saw Himari. He shook her a little and she opened her eyes a tiny bit.
"Mari, get up please."
Himari groaned before sitting up with a grumpy face. Kiyoko chuckled and pinched her cheek.
"Don't be so grumpy, I'll get you ice cream after this."
Himari immediately smiled and hopped to her feet, "Alright, let's get practice started!"
"She is so easy to bribe."
Himari glared at them, but smiled when she thought of ice cream. She was in a pretty good mood for the rest of practice.
