[MY POV]

It all started on a rainy day..

"Stop stealing Gray-sama!"

"Dude.."

I am currently in front of Juvia, her screaming her head off as she's the only one that noticed my feelings towards the ice-make mage

"Juvia challenges love rival to a duel!" Juvia challenged which I accepted since I'm not one for backing down on a fight

I felt some of guildmates' stares piercing on us so I stood up and motioned for Juvia to follow me. When we got to a clearing, both of us stood in our fighting stances

"Water lock!" Juvia summoned first, completely trapping me inside a giant bubble

I held my breath then used an attack to obliterated the bubble I was in before dodging another attack of hers

"Water Slicer!"

I dodged again and flipped myself over so that I landed behind her "(Strong magic spell)"

The attack was too fast so Juvia didn't have any time to react so it sent her flying to the other side

I still had my guard up, fully knowing that a person from Fairy Tail isn't that easy to beat

"Water Nebula!"

"(Magic Spell)!"

[TIMESKIP]

I walked inside the guild with my arms and legs bruised up and was luckily hidden in my clothes.

Juvia stayed in the battle field, too bitter to come back with me to the guild.

"(Y/N), where were you?" Erza's voice echoed through the guild

'Shit.. She's already back?' I thought in my head shivering a little

"Erza.." I said looking up to the scarlet haired girl who was staring at me with a scowl

"Spit it out" She said with a dark aura around her

"Who the hell pissed her off?" I muttered quietly, pissed for coming inside the guild on a wrong time

"Well?"

"I was with Juvia having a duel.."

"And where is Juvia?"

A shiver ran down my spine upon hearing the question. It'd be bad for my image to hear that I just left my guildmate wounded..

"E-Erza-san.."

"What happened to Juvia?" Natsu asked raising his eyebrows upon hearing the voice from behind me

"Juvia challenged love rival to a battle.." Juvia explained walking beside me "But it got out of hand.."

She then fell to her knees with a hurt look "Juvia was beaten.. Gray-sama will not be.. stolen.."

I felt a little pity building up inside my chest, knowing full well that she was just trying to protect Gray, even if he doesn't belong to her..
