[MY POV]

"Oh my"

"Yea"

Lucy stared at me with bewilderment while I nodded with a serious look

"But Laxus would never-"

"But he did"

Lucy covered her mouth with a surprise look, looking around before leaning towards me

"But he never ignored you before. You're the only one who he actually never did ignore"

"Weird, huh? I guess he's starting to get annoyed with me"

I felt a tight pinch on my cheek causing me to cringe and complain in pain

"We're talking about Laxus here. He's your bestfriend! Maybe he was just tired is all.."

[TIMESKIP]

I talked to Natsu and Gray about this cool anime about people with quirks because they wanted some recommendations

Natsu laughed about how I was introducing one character while Gray chuckled and ruffled my hair while I smiled

A certain blonde hated the interaction between the trio causing him to quickly stand up from his seat and stomped over to the table

Someone slammed his hand on our table causing me to shriek quietly, frightened by the sudden action

I looked up in wonder with my eyebrows raised to see Laxus with a dark glare causing me to stiffen

'Omg.. Is he that annoyed with me?'

"Get away from her, you son of a-"

"I'm sorry!" I quickly apologized wrapping my arms around his neck in desperation for him to forgive me

..Completely misunderstanding the situation..

But because of the sudden action of the girl, Laxus' cheeks turned into a certain shade of pink, his anger immediately dissipating while his heart started beating faster than normal

Laxus quickly came back to his senses then started patting my back as gently as he could "G-Get off me"

I let him go then faced him with a worried look with my face inches from his "I'm sorry for making you feel annoyed"

Laxus tried his best to keep his heart from beating any loudly so that the girl in front of him wouldn't notice

"You never-" Laxus quickly cut himself off upon feeling the gazes of the two idiots and the other guildmates staring at him "I gotta go"

He then quickly walked away from us and went to the second floor with loud footsteps

"That was.."

"Weird" The duo said with their eyebrow raised in confusion

"He's mad at me" I said with a troubled look and a small pout "See! He just walked away.."
